Chapter: Master’s Degree 🎓✨

My MSc journey is proof that God’s timing and plans are always greater than mine.

If you had told me two years ago that I would move to a new country, return to academia after four years of working and building a career after my first degree, and take on the challenge of pursuing a Master’s degree while creating a new life from scratch… I probably would have smiled and said, “We’ll see.”

The journey wasn’t glamorous. There were many days I questioned myself and my decision, days I cried, days I felt overwhelmed, and days I wondered if I was enough. Starting over in a new country meant adapting to a different way of life, meeting new people, building meaningful friendships, and finding my place all over again. It stretched me in ways I never imagined.
But somewhere along the way, I discovered a stronger version of myself. One who kept showing up, even when it was hard. One who chose faith over fear, consistency over comfort, and perseverance over giving up.

18 months later, I’m walking away with a Master’s degree with Distinction, a reminder of how far I’ve come and the grace that carried me through.

Along the way, I was honoured to receive two awards that made this journey even more special: the Dean’s Studentship Award, recognising my academic efforts and contributions within my department, and Officer of the Year Award, recognising my commitment, leadership, and contributions through my work within the Student Union and the wider school community. These achievements are a reflection of the journey, the lessons, the people who supported me, and the version of myself I became along the way. 🎓✨

To my family, thank you for loving me through every season. Thank you for your prayers, sacrifices, constant encouragement, and for believing in me even before the dream became reality.

To my friends here and back home, thank you for cheering me on, praying for me, checking in on me, and reminding me that I was never alone.

MSc in Global Health — with Distinction. 🤍🎓

Safe to say… you can call me Ms. Masters now. ✨

THE 2025 RECAP 📸

2025 was the year I lived my yes loudly.�It’s the kind of year that doesn’t fit into one box; it stretched me, surprised me, and shaped me.

I stepped into a life I prayed for, met people I didn’t know I needed, and learned more about God’s grace than I ever expected.

I’m grateful for the new places I was privileged to go, the memories I made, the opportunities that came my way, the growth God blessed me with, and the joy I allowed myself to feel, even on days that were heavy.
�But most of all, I’m grateful for family and friends who carried me in ways they’ll never fully know, and for the grace that covered what didn’t make sense in the midst of the chaos.

Through them, it became evident that God never took His hands off my life. I learned that faithfulness doesn’t always come with ease, but it always comes with grace. And somehow, even in the stretching, I was preserved.

Thank you 2025 for growth, for people, for lessons, and for quiet miracles.
�Here’s to closing this chapter with gratitude and stepping into 2026 with trust 🥂✨
