Hello y'all, just wow words can't fully say how happy I am, I got something truly amazing in the mail today full of goodies from @miscast.co and Trent you have made me so soo happy, the joy in my heart is just so much :}
The signed toad the minis that were a surprise the awesome box THE REALM OF CHAOS SIGN and spider thing 😄
And all the bits I want wait to use for awesome kitbashs and the real magic sand I can use for basing them, I LOVE the blue and white color on them so they are a full set, just thank you from the bottom of my heart Trent 🩵🤍

UNDER THE DICE FEST ‘26

Man I had such a great time. UTDF was bittersweet for me this year but I so greatly needed to spend time in community with my wonderful and amazing friends, old and new. I was surrounded by such an outpouring of love and blessed beyond measure by each and every person I spoke with in that Elks lodge in New England. I’ve been dragging my feet on even making this post because then UTDF will truly be over with and done in my brain, and I feel as though a part of me is still in CT. I very much look forward to seeing all of y’all again, it can’t come soon enough!

This year has been the hardest time of my life, and UTDF has felt like the closing of a chapter, the final page in the book, and the start of a new season of life for me. I have no clue what that looks like but I know one thing for certain, I was made to be in community around these fine folks and to express myself through kit-bashing, painting, modeling, making, and gaming. My cup is overflowing with hobby energy, and that is all due to the wonderful people behind each and every game, board, and model I saw / played with at the fest.

I have so many photos picking 20 was so hard for me to do. If we took a pic together please send it to me! I’m also getting the film from my camera developed so hopefully I’ll be posting those scans in the coming weeks!!

I played games, chatted with homies, got tattooed(TWICE), cherished the community being built, and most importantly - mourned. An absolute rollercoaster of emotions hit me like paintballs over the weekend. Grief and Joy being two truths that occur simultaneously to me is something I am learning to reckon with. But I know my Dad would have been so excited to hear about this trip, and all the wonderful people I’ve finally gotten to meet after being internet acquaintances for too long. I know my Dad was at UTDF with me, and that will always live on in my heart of hearts. Big thank you to all of the hard work that goes into putting on an event like this, the fellas over at @hivescumpodcast and all the other countless folks who toiled, volunteered, and showed up to make this happen. I am so thankful for y’all. Same time next year?

For at least 3 days out of the year, Enfield, CT’s Elks’ Lodge becomes the best place on Earth. I have left here for the past 3 years w an enormous sense of well-being and purpose. Under the Dice Fest is a bright light in a world that can be very cruel. Big love to everyone who puts effort and care into this hobby and COMMUNITY and for everyone else: if you like weird art and give a shit about the world and its people,come JOIN US. If you want to get involved but you need help getting started, please reach out to folks in the hobby like myself. It’s a lot more fun when you participate and you just might make a bunch of new best friends. Love you!😘

UTD UTD UTD

Let me start out by saying thank you to everyone who made UTD what it is. That includes the wonderful organizers, vendors, and of course all of you awesome peeps that made it out. It was awesome being able to put faces to names and get to know other passionate people within this hobby. Seeing everyone bring out their collections of kit bashes, armies, and painting entries was phenomenal. I’ve walked away from this weekend feeling inspired and excited to make more art and sculpts.

What a nice lovely time playing games with my friends :) ran out of tags because there are too many of you goobers (aren’t we lucky?). I’ll formulate my thoughts when I’m home but truly, what a magical time with magical people. I just want to make and play weird games and art forever. UNDER THE DICE FEST DAY 3

Day 3 was maybe my favorite. I feel like I really got to connect with a lot of new people and talk lots on all sorts of cool things outside of the hobby. Plus lots of really cool events were ran and I got to take lots of cool pictures. Shoutout @superclaymation for his super cool threnoddysey event that every time I came back to the table had people on their toes, as well as @th0tvessel for making one of the prettiest boards I’ve ever seen.

The day was capped off by a nice star quest event ran by @bitsbibsorks which I actually did play in, which was an honestly really fun experience for a small little game played in the back corner of the basement. Everyone really played up their characters and played into their lore, it was really cool.

Sorry if I didn’t tag you in a pic, I literally ran out of tags because instagram limits it to 20. Guess I just have too many friends :/ I left out a few who were tagged previously. If you’re here and not tagged sound off in the comments so people can find you.

Honestly, now that I’m done going through all these I feel like I’m leaving my buddies one final time. I really love this community and I think it’s so underrated how creative and beautiful it is. Every person I talked to had some kind of sticker or zine, and everyone was working on some sort of game or artwork or hack or story. The creativity of this community is unmatched really, and despite many not believing they are, it is filled to the brim with artists who have such unique ideas that constantly inspire my work. You guys are the reason I make stuff. So if you read this, that idea you have, it’s really cool, you should do it. All this started from people playing a 20 year old game in a vfw in Chicopee. Now look at us! We aren’t in Chicopee anymore! @hivescumpodcast built this in a cave with a box of scrap! If you think you can’t do that thing you’re planning, you’re dead wrong.

Seriously, even if I didn’t talk to you, even if I don’t know you, thank you. Under the Dice fest is something special. Those who were there know it. And if you weren’t there, you gotta be next year.

I love my community. I love my friends. You might not know this about me but I don't have any biological family and haven't for a long time. This is it for me. If I seem overly earnest, or too sentimental, it's because you filled that void for me this past week in a way no community ever has. I love you. I mean it.

Another sappy friendship post...but holy fucking shit this weekend was insanely great. I got to hang out with a bunch of my favorite people, I got to become closer with those I want closer, I got to meet new people that fucking rule and already mean the world to me.

This whole community (I know the word gets thrown around too much, fuck you) is fucking great. Its what ive been searching for since I was 12 and got into this weird shit. It just took 24 years to get there.

I will probably make a blog post about it, for the two people who will read it...at some point when I can put into words how this past weekend has affected me, and what it means to me. Right now is just holding onto these feelings and emotions for as long as I can before they fade. I miss everyone very much already.

Tldr; everyone I have pictured here, I would kill for.

Be rad. Do rad shit with friends.
Even parasocial friends.

oh hello my friends :}
I made this little epic scale great unclean one based on the one Trent made for the Nurgle Diaries (amazing 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it) I'm really happy with the tiny details, I'd love to see the real one in person one day, looks big on camera, I want to thank @miscast.co for making the original, I plan on sending him a few of them once their cast if that's ok to cast them 😅
anyway I have some more stuff in the works that I can't wait to show y'all :}
