despite five years of countless commutes, constant burn-out, and late nights spent in studio, i somehow ended up creating a little corner that felt entirely like me ⋆˚꩜

“scarborough: places that hold us” became more than a thesis project — it became a physical love letter to the places, routines, memories, and people that shaped me. seeing people find pieces of themselves in my work meant more than i can explain.

thank you to everyone who surprised me, came to support, reconnect, and share conversations with me over the past week. i’m eternally grateful for the connections, conversations, and friendships that shaped my time at ocadu.

none of this would’ve been possible without the unconditional love of my friends, family, and loved ones. i’m incredibly lucky and blessed to have such an amazing support system. thank you for holding me up through these years and for always believing in me.

last but not least, thank you for being scarborough loud and proud with me ♡

as scary and uncertain as the future can feel sometimes, i’m leaving this chapter feeling incredibly loved — and very excited for whatever comes next. ☆⋆.˚ ༘⋆

scarborough: places that hold us / my BFA thesis is on display at 100 mccaul ocadu’s grad ex 111 from may 6th - 10th (room 460)

what defines a place? is it architecture, geography, or the accumulation of lived experiences? “Scarborough: Places That Hold Us” considers memory, routine, and belonging at a human scale. this short film, installation piece is a physical love letter to scarborough.

this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of my loved ones. thank you for your support and unconditional love ♡
