The premiere of 'The Rich Effect' on Saturday at @thebacklotperth was truly special 💫 Following @itsjaderich's journey to the States in pursuit of music, this 20 min documentary film is a universally relatable story of pushing through challenges of self doubt, navigating neurodivergency, learning to speak your truth and finding your people. This is also BASE MGMT's debut as a (wait for it) PRODUCTION COMPANY 😱 Follow along at @basemgmt.creative for more upcoming projects. Our Creative Director and Lead Videographer @korireaymackey has truly outdone himself, having directed, filmed, edited and co-produced the whole thing himself. He tells stories with such care and we are so lucky to have him. Big love to everyone who came along on Saturday. Your support for @itsjaderich and our little team is everything. The full film will be available online soon, keep your eyes peeled. 🎬

My heart is so very full. "The Rich Effect" had its screening on Saturday night, and I'll always remember it for how special it was. Creating and directing this project for @itsjaderich has been so rewarding and fulfilling, helping to tell Jade's story and all of those involved with her music. It was important to me that the film was more than an artist profile, but an intimate look at the emotional cost and huge faith it takes to express yourself through music, or any creative endeavour. The core meaning of "The Rich Effect" is the ripple effect of a major creative undertaking and how it allows others to grow and hone their craft, myself included. Screening the film @thebacklotperth after Jade performed, and then listening to new tracks she created on the US trip that we got to witness on screen, really made the entire night feel like a coming together of so many skills and disciplines. Thank you to all the friends and family who came out. The kind words that were said about the film meant so much to us. I'm not sure if the film would be as personal as it is without the creative trust I have with Jade, and I value that so much. This film also wouldn't have been possible without my partner and co-producer, @sinead__oh . Her support is everything. We're still finalising the online release date for the 20-minute film. Please follow @itsjaderich and @basemgmt to be the first to know when it drops on YouTube! Production Company: @basemgmt Director/DP/Editor: @korireaymackey Producer: @sinead__oh and @korireaymackey Featuring: @itsjaderich @sinead__oh @ross__newhouse @mischamandel @lauren.rintoul @flozinho_nobeat @mandicimo_ @dolotonight @roekapara @steviebeerkens @artemisxorion
