WHAM BAM IMPROV JAM | Diwali Edition | Pictures
.
In india, Diwali is special. It's not just religious, or spiritual, but it's cultural. Diwali is for everyone. We just celebrated our 2nd one and are happy and proud to get here.

But 25th October was special. We were playing improv with a legend in the making, mourning the loss of 3 laughter legends and celebrating a birthday of a team member.

Thank you Kopal Naithani @kopious1 for celebrating Diwali with us and playing some insane improv. You remind us how professionals use improv on the field to get work done and then let your hair down and have fun on stage.

We mourn the loss of laughter legends, Late Govardhan Asrani @asraniofficial, Ad-man Late #PiyushPandey and Late Satish Shah @satishshah173, who passed in the morning of our show. We light a diya in your memory.

Also, we happily celebrate the 17th birthday of young Mihir, crew member of @brubaabaacafe, who waited on the guests the whole evening without revealing it's his birthday. He schools by day and head to his shift in the evening. The future is bright for this young fellow and we wish him peace and happiness.

We have grown since the last time we celebrated Diwali, with @sahilkhattar who saw promise with idea at @muktimohan & @whokunalthakur 's @muktimanch who graciously shared their platform for us. We thank you for that push.

Thank you the community of Improvisors for supporting @aashurachana.school.of.improv for your Improv please and improv growth. Thank you for saying YES.

As people support us, we continue to look forward to use our #LetsGiveImprov outreach initiative to give opportunities for individuals like @d_jpanchal to support their journey.

And you guys. Today we thank you @brubaabaacafe for celebrating 7 months of improv Jamming.

Ps.
Realisation hits us as we're writing this post.
You know what make Diwali an Indian festival and not just a Hindu one?
When an event run by a catholic is supported by a cafe run by a Muslim to celebrate a Hindu celebration, for the community. Batao.

Theatre at its best. in the most original form. "An Unwritten Act" bursts forth as raw, unpredictable, and alive. Built entirely on improvisation, each show begins with a poem—read by a team member—and from that spark, mischievious Rana pratap, Snehal Dixit, Kettan Singh, Naveen Kaushik, and Dhruv Lohumi create a world on the spot. No script. No roadmap. Just instinct, trust, and magnetic chemistry. Well done guys.

No Script. No Safety Net. Just Pure Improv.

@mischiefaction Presents #AnUnwrittenAct
Improvisation at its wildest.

Scripts are just modern-day superstitions.
This stage? It’s raw. It’s real. It’s dangerous.
We’re throwing out the rulebook and letting instinct take over.

No script. No retakes. Just madness on the spot!
Improv is where the story is born live — unpredictable, unscripted, and 100% made up by the performers.
Come witness the chaos in An Unwritten Act.

MEET THE STARS

@ranapratapsengar aka Ramesh of the 5 Ramesh-Suresh duo. Rana is the funnybone of our show. Deliciously subtle, tastefully poetic, hilariously sneaky. He can find the humour in the most serious of situations.

Watch him in AN UNWRITTEN ACT on 3rd and 4th of May at 7pm and 9pm at @muktimanch
