mi love math.
But sometimes numbers miss the point.

Thank you to everyone who came out, showed interest, played, and contributed during Arcatype with Glue Festival x Amsterdam Fashion Week. Seeing you engage with mi pieces in person meant a lot.

So many of you asked where you can get your hands on Oscalito here in Holland, our components, so we’re opening the studio this weekend to sell a selection of pieces from the show.

Thursday to Saturday, 12:00 till at least 19:00 (might extend depending on how it goes).

Come play, stay safe, see you in the bright light at mi_space.

mi_space opens its doors.

For three days, our Amsterdam studio becomes a considered space, a temporary showroom for pieces that carry a story.

Discover a selection of multiple identities, crafted from discarded fabrics, leftover materials and unsold or damaged garments sourced from high-quality brands, alongside a curated edit of Oscalito, and a handful of unique pieces from our mi x Oscalito collaboration.

Different origins. Considered possibilities. Pieces made to be worn, adapted, and lived in.

Nothing new. Everything new.

We invite you to come by, take your time, try things on, and take a piece home.

When: 24–26 September 2026, 12:00–19:00

ADAPT. TRANSFORM. INCLUDE. PLAY. RESET.

5 words that sum up mi approach to design, values and results.

mi x Oscalito, a world of contrast. Slow vs fast. Tradition vs future: natural fibres, modular thinking, old knowledge and new possibilities.
More than just making something new. Making things differently.

NOTHING NEW. EVERYTHING NEW.

On 1 September, Oscalito, multiple identities and Slow Fiber come together at @arcatype.co I 02

A SPACE FOR TIME, The Gent, Amsterdam.

Three perspectives. One shared belief: made to last should mean exactly that.

From Italian slow fibre and generations of craftsmanship to modular thinking and new ways of rethinking existing garments and materials.

A conversation between what we have always known and what is yet to come.

Meet Jacqueline Haeberle (@miself2 ) , founder of @multiple_identities and @dario.casalini CEO of @oscalito1936 and founder of @slow_fiber , an Italian name and family knitwear house with a legacy dating back to 1936.

Less but more.
Slowing down to speed up.

Nothing new. Everything new.

The idea isn’t to make more. It’s to make more out of what already exists.

One piece becomes two or three. Half garments that meet another. Every combination tells a different story. A kit of interchangeable parts that keeps evolving.

1+1=3.

It’s a system built to play. Think LEGO. Math. Brick logic. Transformers. We just applied it to the wardrobe. Excell and numbers later:]

It’s a system built to play. For humans of all ages. Children included.

mi has been building this since before it had a name. The root of what became multiple identities in 2000.

As of 19 July 2026, EU Regulation 2024/1781 prohibits large companies from destroying unsold clothing, footwear and accessories. Your pre-consumer discards are not waste. They are uncommissioned components waiting for a system that knows what to do with them.

Ready to play?

mi_kits. modular design. circular system. built from what already exists. brick logic. math.

mi is my name. exploring is my game.

every year, millions of new puffer jackets enter the world. most of them are well made. many of them will outlive the reason they were bought.

for 19 seasons we helped create collections for one of the world's leading outdoor brands. we're proud of that work. it taught us about more than just design. systems, materials. again we learned about the machines behind the machine, inside the machine.

season in and millions of pieces produced later it also made mi ask a simple question:

what happens after the campaign ends?
what happens when a perfectly good jacket becomes last season?

mi believes the story doesn't end there.
nuptse, mountains, summits later, mi components, mi system, mi items started with an existing jacket, pant, top. we call them cubic meters or mi3. A one-man shelter, as Mr Fuller once called it.

mi_kit systems. 3 decades of quiet work. they require little:
no new fabric. no new insulation. no new vent, laser, zip, buckle. No new production - just a lil reset. a new combination. a new approach to your wardrobe. 1/2 of what it used to take and less plus imagination - it's all real:]

Because built to last should actually last.

1+1=3.

Sometimes the most sustainable material is the one that's already here.
Sometimes all it needs is another way to play.

RtP. Reset the preset :]
let's do this.
