Late to posting, but here’s some work for the lovely peeps in @misgendered.hc for their debut release Death By a Thousand Tucks

Some gory / body horror styled work to match with the lyrical themes of the release, wrapped in a gritty pink vibe throughout

This one was a difficult one for me, Misgendered are an all-trans band and with myself being cisgendered I was hesitant to perhaps misrepresent or misrepresent the trans experience, but Misgendered gave me plenty of trust and guidance and I think we made something really cool and visceral and beautiful together!

Been playing alongside this band now for like a year or so? Very glad they have their music out now, please give them some love because they’re lovely people and all work very fuckin hard at what they do

The sky doesn’t end

365+ days sober
The lasering of my face didn’t really work.
Still making up a top lip.
I’m a nerd at heart,
and I am an enigmatic 17th century woman.
Passionate about so many things,
and a dabbler.
Turn the page into the next chapter,
The lessons appear more vibrantly,
So too the inner reflections.
I am but the experiences that have shaped me.
Hasn’t always been easy,
Haven’t always handled things so gracefully,
But I am so grateful nonetheless.
