I just put out 4 hours of tape camera footage from a few VA pop up shows this past April !💥📹

Check out the YouTube link in my bio🌟🌄These were such special shows and everyone involved is so talented.

Here’s part of my little blurb from the description:

Many thanks to A. Decker for finding the extra video tapes used for this, I would not have been able to record this film without her! Decker’s passion for camera work and help with file sorting afterwards was beyond appreciated.

Dylan Dutra and I spent nights and days for about a week setting up this space, which I found to be an excellent meditation on the artistic process. Working so closely with others on an extensive visual arts project was not something I was used to, and it came very easily working with Dylan. His calm and knowing demeanor always served as a bright light even when we had no idea what we wanted to make the space into. (check out Dylan’s dope art here: @freevirusclickhere ) Thanks as well to Leo, Jasper, Will and Skye for your artistic contributions and basically living with us in the space while we set this installation up! Y’all are the goats.

I was also extra inspired by Tyler Newman’s lovely work documenting & posting live music from his tape camera this past semester, and will post this film soon as clipped segments for each performer like he did recently on his channel. Check out his stuff at @tylerthebettercreator !

Thank you SUNY Purchase & everyone in it for allowing me the space, friendship, and facilities to really envelop myself in projects like this. I hope you enjoy!
