What a night.

The launch of Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop on Madison Avenue, hosted by us in partnership with @sanyfw and @theculturetree, was so much more than a store opening. It was a celebration of South Asian fashion, culture, and community on one of the world’s most iconic luxury avenues.

New York has always felt like a second home to me and influenced me in so many ways.To launch this next chapter here felt especially meaningful.

From the inspiring panel discussion curated by @theculturetree to the runway presentation of ‘Shahnameh’ produced by @sanyfw every detail reflected the creativity, craftsmanship and global relevance of South Asian fashion today.

Have you seen Chego? 🐾

Chego is part of our cheer family, and a handful of our cheerleaders spent this morning hanging posters around the🚨Twin Lakes, Lake Waccabuc, and Mountain Lakes areas.🚨This area has been identified by a scent tracking team as Chego’s location. 📍

Chego has been looping the entirety of Cove Road, through Shady Glen Court and Old Pond Road, Oscaleta, and the woods behind Oscaleta through to Lookout Point and Lake Rippowam.

🧐 If you walk those areas, or enjoy activities on the lakes, please keep an eye out.

🧐 If you have a covered car or boat, a shed, a farm, a garage that you leave open, any area on your property that could serve as a safe place and comfortable hiding spot for a scared senior pup, please take a look each day to see if Chego might be there.

Chego is likely hiding during most days and exploring at night.

➡️The family needs as many people looking for him as possible.

➡️ Please share this info with your landscapers, contractors, delivery people, and fellow residents.

📸The ONLY goal at this point is a sighting and when he’s spotted, to hopefully take a picture and text or call the family.

After a longggggggggggg winter, and amid what feels like a shedding of old skin (hello year of the snake🐍) 🎶I’m feeling good. 🎶

While having the coaching tools to navigate hard times is everything, combining it with movement and Vitamin D is truly next level. ☀️

Enjoy scenes from my birthday getaway, hikes and family hangs. ➡️

Not featured but treasured were bike rides, walks, mahjong dates, girls nights, women biz owner conference and cozy evenings on the couch. Post-mold renovations are probably 75% complete and I can’t wait for a quiet home again. 🏡

📣 Oh! And did I mention I’m cooking up something amazing for YOU this summer?? 👀

Dear Amazing HeyMama Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I announce my departure from HeyMama. It has been an honor connecting with all of YOU, the incredible members that make up this community. Mothers and professionals, I hold near and dear, support and love. ❤️

I began as a member myself back in 2018 connecting with the incredible OGs. In the Fall of 2019 I took on a contractor role to build and grow the community in my local Westchester & CT area, and made friendships that fuel me to this day. It was an honor to move over to HQ in January of 2021 and support the community on a different level. Being Head of Community over the last 3+ years has been an invaluable experience and I’ve learned so much. BUT without a doubt, my experience and commitment was always to YOU, the members. You are what fueled me. 🫶🏼

Over the last few years I have witnessed members collaborate, grow, scale, connect, build relationships, launch, celebrate, cry, and it brought me utter joy and happiness to know I played some role in many of these accomplishments. 💟

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭? For the moment in 2024, I plan on living up that stay at home mom life! With the holidays coming up, family visiting and a trip to Miami, I’m going to hit the gym like crazy, get into killer shape, be an obsessed mom 🤣, maybe cook more (probably not 🤪), have lots of sex (yes, I said that 🫣), meet friends for lunch, be #45&HOT, and dig into what will come next. 2025 will be an evolution, deliberate, close to my heart, exciting and fulfilling on all levels. I already have some exciting plans to kick off the year, stay tuned in my next post. P.S. open to all your ideas as well!
