Creating a dance is one of the most special experiences I get to do in my life. Because dance is forever fleeting, never performed the same each day, and is highly influenced and shaped by the people in the room with me, I am forever grateful for this moment in life to have had the honor to work with these eight dancers over the past year creating “Even This Was Written”.

I’ll never have another opportunity to work with all of them at once in a creative project during the same point of our lives again. That’s the ephemeral nature of life and this art form. These dancers have given so much of their time and energy to this process while juggling student life and various commitments. They’ve done everything I’ve asked and have helped me to be a better coach and artist. Their performances this weekend were beautiful and I’m so proud of every single one of them.

Thank you Caitlyn, Grace, Elena, MacKenna, Misia, Jade, Morgan, and Emilie!
