Have you ever had Japanese-Italian fusion?! Miso Mozza does it perfectly right.

As they've shaped their menu to adapt to the neighborhood's demand and deeply rooted Italian culture, @miso_mozza offers homemade pasta, fresh sushi and raw fish, and multi-cultural crossover dishes.

They make their own soy sauce. Their pasta is made in house. They're known for their hand rolls (cone-shaped sushi, like a soft-shell taco!). 😍

Plates like their Uni Cream Carbonara are what make Miso Mozza such a gem... it's fresh spaghetti, uni butter, ikura, and nori flakes. Paired with their Miso Matcha Strawberry Margarita... fair to say they know how to do fusion. 🌱🍸

The atmosphere is modern, warm, chic, and sophisticated, perfect for a date night or drinks after work. 💚

@federalhillri is known for its amazing Italian restaurants, but did you know they also have a fusion spot? @miso_mozza serves up the best of Japanese and Italian flavors in their creative dishes and cocktails.
This is what we tried:
🍹 Mozza Lychee-tini 🍹 Sushi Setup Cocktail 🍹 Yuzu Gin Fizz 🐟 Hamachi Crudo 🍚 Toro Truffle Crispy Rice 🍣 3 Handrolls: Yellowtail Scallion, Miso Cod Buttercream, Shrimp Tempura 🥑 Spicy Salmon Avocado Mousse Bites 🍝 Rigatoni Shrimp Pistachio Pesto with Burrata 🦑 Mafaldine Salt & Pepper Squid 🍰 Yuzu Cheesecake
Everything was terrific, but our highlights were the miso cod hand roll and the hamachi crudo. The miso cod was so buttery and soft, it practically melts in your mouth. The hamachi crudo might be some of the freshest fish we’ve ever had, with just the right hint of spice from the Serrano peppers.
If you’re a uni (sea urchin) fan, come in on Thursdays — that’s when the fresh uni arrives straight from Japan!
Overall, the quality and taste were unmatched — this might be our new favorite restaurant in Federal Hill. From the ambience to the service (shout out to our AMAZING server Kevin), our experience was a 10/10, and we can’t wait to go back soon!
