I wanted to do something special for the little tiny crowd I have.

I wrote a poem from the perspective of a fictional character of mine, time sure does fly fast, it's suprising it's already been this long.

For those of who who cannot read the video for whatever reason, here is a transcript of the poem:

And I cried when I saw you here.
What do you wish for me to do?
Another mall another building
That I lock myself from to escape you.
Your presence is malignant
a virus seizing control of my being
the very thought of you cripples me and anyone I’m with
I tried to have friends, people who said they could understand me
But they were never happy
Because happiness is poison to me
A bile that turns me away from those that carry it
And turns me to an assassin that plagues and sickens those around me

Somehow, I let you hold me
Like when you turned me into blight
And not unlike how it was when I was a kid
except this time, you're not lying with your face
about what you've seen
about what you'll do
and that no one'd ever make you happy
So, are you happy?
Happy that when I think of fear, I think of you?
Happy that no one loves me because of you?
Happy no one thinks what I said could be true?
I'd kill myself if it didn’t play right into you.
Because I know that'd make you happy
And happiness isn't deserving of being torn down by you.

My brain is not real, it evaporates like steam when this happens
My head hurls and my limbs lapse
And I am daunted by ash
When my eyes play tricks
And I believe I see phantoms
Not a single being is there for me
Some perturbed but none concerned
I'm disgusted I have to play like you
But yet I do
It was never perfected
I've forgotten my lines somedays
and others I hoped I’d be saved like you
But that’s fantasy, isn't it?
to be saved by victors that bolster
compassion great enough to see me unlike how I’ve seen myself?
Everyone I’m around long enough to poison isn’t happy.
Happy that I can pretend to be you?
Happy to aide me like I’m a sick puppy?
Happy that everyone's moved on?
Most days I wish I could kill you if it didn't play right into you
Because I know that'd make you happy
And happiness isn't deserving of being tarnished by anyone.
