Last night, we stopped by the @officialapplebottoms pop-up in #chicago to preview their new collection! Lots of well heeled Chicagoans came out in style to toast to the brand🍎🥂 Swipe for more! In 2003, rapper @nelly co-founded the brand to fill a void in the #fashionindustry, creating jeans for curvy women, inspired by his sister, who had a hard time finding jeans that fit her frame. Fast forward 23 years, and #applebottoms is back, with a new collection that includes velour tracksuits, leather jackets, and their iconic jeans, this time dipped in crystals and offered in a variety of silhouettes. HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT AT THE END! POV: you bring 10 of your closest friends together for your birthday dinner… and they have NO idea you’re about to drop a major life update. 🥹✨ My birthday night at Wu’s Korean BBQ was seriously one for the books. 🥂 We had the drinks flowing, the laughs were nonstop, and honestly… I’m pretty sure we were all feeling GOOD before the food even hit the table 😂 The best part? We didn’t even have to cook. The servers grilled everything for us while we sat back, ate, laughed, and enjoyed the night together. And the FOOD?! 🔥 The meat selection was easily one of my favorite parts, but the creamy, cheesy tteokbokki and kimchi fried rice were SO good. Add the drinks, the riverfront views, and my favorite people around one table, and it was the perfect birthday celebration. But there was one thing my friends didn’t know… Art and I had something BIG to tell them. 👀 And just when I was about to make the announcement… 🎬 TO BE CONTINUED.
