What began as a dream has become a testimony of God’s faithfulness!!

My heart is full as I stand as your Centennial Queen, the 100th Miss Alcorn State University. Thank you, God, for ordering my steps and surrounding me with a village whose love, prayers, and sacrifices helped bring this dream to life. To my family and everyone who poured into me, this moment belongs to you, too.

To my student body, thank you for believing in me from freshman year to now. Growing alongside you and earning your trust has been one of the greatest blessings of my Alcorn journey. I carry this crown with gratitude and a commitment to serve you with purpose, uplift your voices, and honor the legacy entrusted to me.

There’s no place like home! 💜💛 Purple and gold run through my veins, and my heart is completely full.
Thank you, Alcorn State University, for having me as your Inaugural Homecoming Worship Guest Speaker today! To stand on this sacred ground and pour into the next generation of Brave leaders is an honor I will never take for granted.
My deepest gratitude to:
• President Cook, Rev. Rhodes, and Rev. Warren for your incredible leadership, vision, and warm welcome.
• My Miss Alcorn Forever Queens—seeing my sisters in the building to support me meant everything. Thank you to our Centennial Queen for introducing me.
• The dynamic student body, alumni, and supporters of Jesus & Justice with Dr. Tiff. Your energy, passion, and faith moved me deeply.

What a blessing to experience @nasapsli 2026 with such beautiful people, hosted on the beautiful campus of @claflin1869 !!!

Three prominent lessons learned this week: 💓💓💓
1. Make Jesus popular in every capacity @p.arriis
2. Leadership doesn’t have to equate to being loud: @erinlanyaaa_ (Madame Prez!!!)
3. And leadership is all intentional—through every moment of resilience & every test ahead or currently present.

Thank you to my HBCU, Virginia State University, for the amazing opportunity to attend NASAP 2026 alongside the amazing VSU Royal Court, SGA, and TAB. Moreover, meeting such amazing student leaders while representing our HBCU’s was the most amazing blessing overall, especially connecting, meeting, and vulnerably bonding with my fellow Sister Queens. You all are absolutely astounding, stunning, and forever so welcoming—I’m so excited for our initiatives, scholarly plans, and reigns! 👑✨💕

As NASAPSLI 2026 comes to a close, I am incredibly grateful to have been a part of such an amazing institute. While I wasn’t involved in Student Leadership as an undergraduate, having the opportunity to advise and watch these student leaders grow, network, and take advantage of countless opportunities has been truly rewarding 🌟

Thank you to every student who voted for me and allowed me to be part of your journey. I have genuinely enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you, and I can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in the future 💙
