A milestone celebration in a secret garden? Say less!

We loved collaborating with @leandrafsinteriors on this wonderful celebration. Equal parts elegant dinner party and full-on banger!

l magazine nightlife awards at lotus, october 9, 2007

L Magazine was -- well a magazine distributed on the L line train. It bridged the cool folks of manhattan and bk, and apparently had nightlife awards that I had forgotten about. I was lucky enough to have a column in the magazine and they featured my pictures

lotus was on west 14th in the meatpacking district. it closed eight months later, in june 2008. dj june deuell is in slide 10, and nikola tamindzic, the l's nightlife photographer of the year, is in slide 8 with the cameras. eamon harkin (left) and rok one (right) are in slide 12. anyone know who the gorilla was?

I don’t think I’ve ever felt the weight of a vendor team quite like I did for this one.

When you’re planning a wedding, you spend months choosing people for their talent, their work and what they’ll bring to the day.

And then a nor’easter rolls in and you realize you chose them for so much more.

For the people who answer the phone.
Who pivot without hesitation.
Who problem solve alongside you.
Who check in on each other.
Who keep showing up when the conditions are anything but easy.

There were a lot of texts flying around that weekend, but these are some I’ll keep forever.
Not because of what they say about me, but because they remind me what it felt like to be surrounded by people who had each other’s backs.

Talent matters. Details matter. But trust within your vendor team matters even more.

Abby and Nick, featured today in @stylemepretty 💕💓💞💖🌸
We guess you could say the bride loves pink. And maximalism. We were happy to oblige! It was a delight to work with this incredibly fun couple and their incredibly talented vendor team in May at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It was a first for us to have a parade float fabricated as a dancing stage too!

Caroline + Frank 👠✨🪩❤️
🥂

This wedding was pure JOY from start to finish. These two brought so much personality to every part of the day, and somehow there were even more disco balls than we could’ve hoped for!

@tatipolyphoto absolutely obsessed with these photos!

Take a step into Caroline & Frank’s whimsical wedding day that feels like you stepped directly into a Claude Monet painting.
