POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

🎬 STORIES THAT MATTER. PERFORMANCES THAT MAKE AN IMPACT. ❤️

At Act With Purpose, we are proud supporters of the accessibility community, and this demo reel scene tackles an issue that deserves more attention: the growing problem of individuals and companies taking advantage of people with disabilities.

This message feels especially important during Down Syndrome Awareness Month, a time to celebrate inclusion, challenge stereotypes, and advocate for the dignity, independence, and rights of people with Down Syndrome and the broader disability community. Awareness must go beyond celebration. It must also mean standing up against exploitation and ensuring everyone is treated with respect.

Matthew Hung did an incredible job bringing this character to life. Being able to draw from his own life experiences made this performance all the more powerful and authentic. There was a depth to his work that made this scene truly resonate.

And Oswald Hunter gave Matthew SO much to work with! The two of them built something really special together, and watching this scene come to life was a beautiful reminder of why authentic representation and meaningful storytelling matter so much. ❤️

We believe everyone deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and protected. Stories like this help shine a light on the issues that matter.

👏 A huge round of applause to Matthew and Oswald for bringing this important story to the screen!

We’re still playing a little bit of catch-up after TIFF, but TIFF definitely didn’t slow us down!

I’m so proud of my team for working so hard while I was away, and even more proud of our talent who continue to put in the work, train, grow and show up. And the bookings keep coming!

Congratulations to Apples, who has been working incredibly hard with her training and just booked a FILM! Even better, she’ll be working alongside fellow Meus talent Cheryl. I already know this is a film I won’t want to miss. Congratulations to you both!

Deep just booked his FIRST SERIES!! We are so proud of him and can’t wait to see what he does next. He has been training hard, putting in the work and it’s paying off. Deep, I’ll see you on the pickleball court!

Jesse Jones did it again! Jesse has been working incredibly hard, producing amazing self-tapes and, honestly, he just has such a genuine love for the craft. Congratulations on booking a FEATURE FILM! So deserved.

And Meryn just booked a MASSIVE COMMERCIAL!! She has been working incredibly hard as well, and I cannot wait to see what she does next.

Training. Self-tapes. Auditions. More training. More auditions. And then those YESes start coming in.

So proud of all of you and so proud of Team Meus. Let’s keep going!

There's something exciting happening at The Meus.

Watching talent build momentum is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Cheryl has been on an incredible run and just booked another commercial.

Nick just landed a TV series after an amazing streak of bookings. I am starting to think some of Nick's booking luck has rubbed off on the rest of the agency.

I am so proud of the work they are putting in behind the scenes. Every audition, every self tape, every callback, every moment of preparation is leading to these opportunities. Success rarely happens overnight. It comes from showing up again and again, even when no one is watching.

It feels like there is a real energy building right now, and I could not be happier for all of our talent. Watching one person's success inspire another is one of the best parts of this industry.

Congratulations, Cheryl and Nick. Keep the momentum going.

Now if Nick could make everyone a lucky sandwich, I think the rest of the agency would happily take one. 😉

The vibe onset for this commercial was unreasonably fun, due in large part to @missdownload. I'll identify pests in your basement anytime my friend 💚

We did it! Another @firecrackerdept Comedy igniter complete.
The required prompts lead me to finally make a bit of a noir which I’ve always wanted to try!
Another quirky dark comedy in the bag! Thank you to my amazing team and cast for making this project happen!! Fingers crossed we make the screening 🤞
