A lot of things have changed in such a short amount of time. Everything moving along almost too fast for me to grasp. but I’m not supposed to cling to it. I’m supposed to let it drift through my fingers like sand at the beach or water in the ocean. Molecules slipping past one another, happy to have bumped into others along the way. We are all but grains of sand on this rock, but these people, these clumps of molecules, are my whole universe. I observe but do not contain them, because I cannot. And that is what makes them so precious. No one could contain them and no one can contain the love i have for them which is why it runs freely from my heart like a spring. collected in the well of my memories for as long as i love. live, but also love. love is what moves the molecules. it is the driving force behind all life. what gratitude i have for life, for love, for memories and the present moment. i am here with them, and they are so beautiful. shining like diamonds in my sky. my lucky stars. i can say ‘my’ because they are mine and i am theirs so long as they’ll have me.
