#flashback Yesterday marked 2 years ago since I tore my left calf muscle. . Luckily I didn’t need surgery, b/c it was a grade 2 tear (not severed, thank God!) . I was so lucky to find & choose @mission_pt_ for physical therapy and I completely surrendered to the process. Following strict and clear guidelines for me to modify while teaching and kept accountable (since they could see my IG posts 😆) Also with support from friends & family, I was finally able to run/jump again🏃🏻‍♀️ . Remembering these times still makes me cringe to relive the pain, but reminds me of how amazing it was to successfully heal and get back to running/jumping! . . #aer2024 #aerteamorange #somekindarunner #zoomarunclub #alteregorunning #gorunmiami #momentumjewelry #halfmarathontraining #mileagegoals #teamnuun2024 #nuunlife #nuunhydration #nuunlove #nuunambassador #muuvment #teamnuunrunners #TeamROADiD #stillirun #stillirunsouthfl #zensah #zensahambassador #withoutlimitz

Finished Half Marathon 🏃🏻‍♀️#2 for 2024, and managed to achieve my 3rd best Half Marathon time (again) beating the time I had achieved just 5 weeks ago. 🙌🏼 . These races are never “easy”, so I appreciate the love and support during training, and before, during & after the race! Thank you! . Thank you @gorunmiami family for pacing us and all your support throughout!! Our experiences wouldn’t be the same without you! 😍 . Special thanks to @charminsky & @nath.vzz for capturing videos at the finish line 🏁 while I was obviously still processing so many emotions along with aches and pains 🥵 . Definitely proud of @charminsky & @jg_noles98 for crushing their PRs today! So awesome! 👏🏼 👏🏼 . No more Half Marathons for a little while, but definitely more 5Ks and maybe 10Ks to come! 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ . . #aer2024 #aerteamorange #somekindarunner #zoomarunclub #alteregorunning #gorunmiami #beinspiredbrands #beinspiredbrandsambassador #momentumjewelry #halfmarathontraining #mileagegoals #sherunsthistown #gorunmiami #werunmiami #teamnuun2024 #nuunlife #nuunhydration #nuunlove #nuunambassador #teamnuunrunners #TeamROADiD #stillirunmiami #authenrunning #authen #zensah #withoutlimitz

Would I wake up at 5am on a weekend to run a 5k? Ehhhhh probably not. Would I wake up at 5 to work with the amazing staff of @mission_pt_ and stretch athletes excited about running? my answer is…ehh WHY NOT? It’s always a pleasure working around such a positive high energy crowd. @gorunmiami always creates amazing events for the runners that are fun for everyone involved, whether you are competing or working behind the scenes. Looking forward to the next Race!
