Sometimes, impact begins with a conversation. Last Saturday, The African Renaissance Learning Partnership @tarlp_org in collaboration with Mission Brain Ilorin and the Lifelight Cardiovascular Foundation, stepped into Oke Ose Primary Healthcare Centre with mothers and children under the age of five at the heart of our mission. Our goal was to create awareness about neurodevelopmental disorders that can affect a child’s learning and development. We talked, listened, shared health information, and created a space for mothers to ask questions and become more informed about the children they care for. Because sometimes, early awareness can change what happens next. ❤️ This was more than an outreach. It was a step towards building communities where every child is understood, supported, and given the opportunity to thrive. Watch the full story on our social media handles. INDEED, NO ONE DOES IT ALONE.🔥 Some journeys begin with a big plan. Ours began with a simple decision to show up. ❤️ We went into the community with the L.I.F.T. Project — Leadership, Inclusion, Family Health & Technology, bringing basic health checks, maternal and child health education, developmental support and a little more care closer to families. What started as an idea became a room full of mothers, children, volunteers, medical students and people willing to give their time to something bigger than themselves. We walked, we listened, we checked in, we shared, we learned, and somewhere between the conversations and the smiles, we were reminded why this work matters. A heartfelt thank you to our incredible volunteers, my super wonderful friends and classmates ❤️🫂😍👑 uniqueunice @christabelajibade @beulahtsado Our Partners, especially The Lifelight Cardiovascular Foundation and Mission Brain @missionbrain , for showing up and helping us make this possible. 🤍 This is more than one outreach. It is a new milestone in the L.I.F.T. journey. And honestly? We’re only getting started. 🌱 @projectenable #leadership #CommunityHealth #HealthEquity #collegemilestone
