🍞 Help Us Keep the Bread Baking! 🇭🇹

As our trip comes to an end, Team Haiti wants to say THANK YOU to everyone who gave toward our bread baking ministry.

Because of you, we were able to bake fresh bread four times and share it with more than 250 people at our orphanage, boys’ and girls’ homes, elderly home—and yes, even those of us at the guest house enjoyed some! ❤️

But we don’t want the bread baking to stop when we leave.

Our goal is to bake every Saturday so our children and elderly can have fresh bread for breakfast before church on Sunday morning.

🍞 $270 provides everything for an entire month—four weeks of bread, supplies AND pays our local baker.

Maybe you can sponsor a whole month, or give $10, $25, $50—every gift helps keep the ovens going.

Thank you for helping us turn something as simple as fresh bread into a ministry of love. ❤️

Today, nearly 500 children are walking into our school in Carries,Haiti ready to learn. ❤️🇭🇹

Getting an education here is not easy. Our teachers travel through difficult and sometimes dangerous conditions just to reach these children. Yet they continue to show up because they believe education can change Haiti.

Now we need your help to keep them there.

It costs approximately $6,000 each month to pay our teachers and staff. About $200 can help provide an education for one child for the entire year—but even $10 or $20 a month makes a difference.

These children are Haiti’s future—future teachers, doctors, bakers, business owners and leaders.

They are showing up. Their teachers are showing up. Will you show up for them?

Please help Team Haiti and Mission of Grace keep these children in school. 🇭🇹❤️

Today was an awesome day to find backpacks for our Haiti trip in a couple of weeks. 150 of @missionofgrace kids started school today without these. So we’re very excited to be able to find these and pack them for our trip.

You can help us with this project of backpacks by donating on our website or Venmo account.

Today’s a good day. We got this video that makes us as happy as the girls in it. About eight years ago we sent these four swings to Haiti be a Container. And they sat in a box in our storage in Carries. Today we get to see the girls on the swings. It’s a beautiful thing.

Keisha in Haiti! As you know, nothing will keep me away from my adopted homeland. Appealing to my friends, those who have continually supported and those who will support.

Mission of Grace is facing a critical gap in funding.

To continue caring for our children and the devoted nannies and teachers who serve them, we are challenged to raise $100,000 ASAP.

Every month, $10,000 provides:
Education for our students
Salaries for our 20+ teachers
Salaries for 46 nannies who care for our children each day
Meals and essential daily needs

Our children depend on this support for stability, education, and care. The women who serve as nannies depend on it to continue their faithful work.

Today, we are asking those who believe in this mission to step forward.

If you have supported Mission of Grace before, this is the moment your gift can make an immediate difference.
Please consider making a generous gift today.

If you are unable to give right now, sharing this message can help us reach someone who can.

Thank you for standing with our children and the many people who care for them.

Today all these toys arrived from our Carries Depot to Plaisance. We sent all of this about 3 years ago or more . There are 4 swings that will used at the girls house for the little ones to enjoy. Lots of riding toys for the babies to play on while big kids are at school. All of the kids will be happy.

God is so amazing!

23 of 25 Food Bags Delivered. ❤️🇭🇹

Today we finished delivering 23 of the 25 food bags we prepared.

Some were given out alongside the Gift for Haiti bags. Others we personally carried throughout the community to the families in the greatest need.

The hardships we witnessed… wow.

• A young man who recently lost his leg in an accident. His pregnant sister lives with him — her husband passed away shortly after she became pregnant. No one in the household is able to work.

• A grandmother raising 10 grandchildren alone. She is the only one old enough to work.

• A woman whose husband is blind and paralyzed. There are 10 others living in the home. The grandmother works at our elderly home and still struggles to keep food on the table.

• Another widow with four children. When we arrived with food, she said, “You are my savior.” Last night they had nothing to eat. Today they have a month’s worth of food.

This is why we do what we do.

One $50 bag.
One family fed.
One reminder that God sees them.

What a way to end the week. 🙏🏽

Last Day on the Field 🇭🇹❤️

Today was our final day on the field.

We traveled to Bois Nerf… or at least we tried to. The rain made the road impossible to climb, so we sent word for the children to come down the mountain.

While we waited, a few of us began hiking up to meet them. We were almost to the school when we saw them — walking down toward us.

Together we made our way down the mountain, crossed rushing water, and arrived at the truck where 201 bags were waiting.

It was beautiful.
It was organized.
It was full of purpose.

We gathered the children and reminded them:
Education is everything.

We shared about the missionaries and supporters who sacrifice so this school can stand — who give so teachers can be paid and books can be bought. We encouraged them to always respect their teachers, their building, and their books.

And then they opened the bags…

The smiles.
The joy.
The gratitude.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who makes this possible. You may not have crossed the rushing water today — but you were part of it. 🙏

Today the rain never stopped.

It rained all day long… but ministry doesn’t stop because of rain. 🇭🇹❤️

Even in the middle of the downpour, we were able to finish packing the red Gifts for Haiti bags — each one filled with love, prayers, and hope for the hands that would soon receive them.

We also prepared special gift bags for the nannies who faithfully serve at the elderly home and the orphanage. The ones who quietly give so much of themselves every single day. It felt important to remind them that they are seen too.

But God had even more planned.

We were given the opportunity to bless a small orphanage of about 30 children.

We carried the red bags down through the rain… and just like yesterday, the moment the children gathered around us, everything else faded away.

A simple bar of soap brought excitement.

Real excitement.

Then the bags opened.

Cars.

Dolls.

Airplanes.

Smiles everywhere.

Some children laughed. Some hugged their gifts tightly. Others just stared quietly, almost as if they couldn’t believe something so special was truly theirs.

Gratitude filled the room.

Moments like this remind us that it isn’t about how big the gift is.

It’s about being remembered.

It’s about knowing someone cares enough to show up.

Rain or shine… God keeps moving.

Only God.

Today was our second Gifts for Haiti distribution, and God met us again in such a beautiful way. 🇭🇹❤️

We traveled to Ti Francois, where Pastor Mario invited children from the community to come to the church after school.

As school let out, they came running.

Over 100 children filled the church — laughter, excitement, and anticipation everywhere.

One by one we placed the bags into their hands.

And just like yesterday… the smiles.

The joy.

The gratitude.

It’s something you simply cannot explain unless you are standing here in the moment.

Children celebrating a water bottle. Soap and toothpaste held like treasures. Toys bringing laughter that echoed through the church.

Simple gifts… creating unforgettable moments.

Watching them open their bags reminded us again that generosity speaks louder than words ever could.

Today wasn’t just about giving bags.

It was about reminding children they are seen.

They are loved.

And they are not forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who packed, prayed, and gave.

Your kindness traveled farther than you may ever realize.

Only God.

Recap of Day 2! 🇭🇹❤️

What a great day full of favor, joy, and God’s goodness!

From meaningful moments with our team and community to seeing the work of the ministry continue to grow, we were reminded again why we are here — to serve, to love, and to walk in obedience to what God has called us to do.

Grateful hearts. Full joy. Expecting even more tomorrow.
