Fan Expo Toronto! I’m going to approach this con a little differently since it’s here in my own backyard. From 3-5pm on Saturday, I’ll be at roundhouse park by the water tower for on the spot mini sessions. I've been busy with starting a new job last week & have been having sm fun there so I'm just getting around to posting my YetiCon recap now :) If I missed you in a tag or for art credit pls let me know so I can tag you! I met sooo many people & can't remember all the usernames 😭🥲 ANYWAY I think it goes without saying how amazing Yeti Con was, as usual, but especially this year. My highlights were definitely modelling for the cosplay live drawing on Saturday evening, Bunny Hill on Friday and The Locked Tomb meetup on Sunday! & Also getting to room with my gf and friends made the con so much more enjoyable the whole weekend 🥺 ily guys 🥰 It was soooo nice seeing everyone and chatting! I really appreciated all compliments on my Shadowheart and to anyone who took a photo with me or stuck around to chat with me! I genuinely love chatting with others just in general but especially about cosplay so talking to people about their crafting on their cosplays, especially backstage at bunny hill, was so incredibly fun!! The cosplay live drawing was such a cool experience. I've never done something like this but I've seen it on tiktok and have been wanting to try it for a while! I modelled first as Shadowheart and I held my pose (as best as I could) for 15 whole minutes!! My legs were shaking and it was quite cold bc we were in the shade but I honestly only remember having fun & hanging out, will definitely be participating at something like this again & maybe try my hand at some drawing too!! I'm already planning what I want to do next year and I'm thinking I will have to bring Margaery Tyrell, Shadowheart again (and the four outfits I have for her, maybe make a fifth) and probably alecto!! Thank u all & YetiCon for another incredible year. This is my 3rd yeticon and by far the BEST and I can't wait for it to be even better for 2027 🙂‍↕️🥰 More yeti photos in future posts coming soon! “Whatever happens, you can’t fall in love with me.” For this session I really wanted to focus on bringing a softer element to this set, letting lighting help tell the story here and even though it’s photographed with a more moody setting it still have an inner brightness that I feel fits Aerith so well! ⠀ KATSUCON PHOTO DUMP 🤍🥹✨️🪽‼️ ⠀ I cannot even begin to tell you how long it took me to sort through all of these photos from Katsu, and even still this doesn't even come CLOSE to capturing the amount of amazing people I got to meet and spend time with this past weekend. I couldn't even tag or share everyone I wanted to, i'm sorry pookies!!! 😭😭🫶🏻💫 ahhhh!!! Between the fun memories I made with my friends, and all of the incredible new people and mutuals I got to meet for the first time, thank you for making this Katsu one to remember! From matching cosplays with snhoot for the first time, to our super cool and fun SEES P3 group... KDA & Heartsteel happened to have their first ever crossover, 👀 and the Elden Ring girlies put aside their family trauma to have some fun together too! Queen Dizzy's debut was as wonderful as I could have imagined, 💙 and I wrapped up the weekend being silly Evil Residents with my besties. I couldn't have asked for a more fun convention if i tried...😭💖 ⠀ To anyone who took time out of their Katsucon to say hi to me, spend time with me, or capture a photo together, thank you SO much. Whether I could squeeze you into the photos above or not, just know you had a huge impact on my weekend and made me happier than you could ever possibly know. Man, my very first Katsu sure as hell was a wild ride. I’m so lucky to have met so many talented cosplayers and made several new friends! One month was what it took to put this Jinx original cosplay together. One month of grueling hours spent sewing and pattern-making, countless trips to several fabric stores, copious all-nighters, as well as a weekend of fighting my wig. I don’t think I could’ve imagined this cosplay turning out any better, and I’m super grateful to both my friends who supported me during my journey as well as the brand new cosplay friends I met who showed so much enthusiasm for my work! Special thanks to @cowbuttcrunchies for organizing the Katsu Cosplay Met Gala, where I debuted my Macabre Shimmer-consumed Jinx original design! Thank you as well to @raingodseiji for accomodating me in a highly last-minute nighttime photoshoot (I’ll be posting the pics I receive from him in a couple of weeks). Finally, a huge shoutout to my new friend @noto7112 who I met at the beginning of Sunday con day.
