Hard to believe that one week ago, I was in Savannah, GA with @cewinsider & Savannah College of Art & Design @scadbeauty for the incredible inaugural fellowship program. 💄

Every minute was a pinch me moment. While the program was absolutely amazing, the people truly made the fellowship remarkable. Talented industry baddies (my co-fellows and new friends); inspiring and sage SCAD professors/administrators especially @missmeloney; and of course, our incredibly impressive CEW staff lead by the magnificent @elanaszy3girls.

I am so grateful for the entire experience: learning about the marvelous SCAD resources and curriculum; benefiting from their exceptional knowledge and tools; practicing on air media skills; and the fun with creative play including a sensorial fragrance dinner, jewelry making, and after hours bonding. ❤️

Today, one of our Science of Beauty alumni, Eden, led our fragrance formulation workshop at Xavier University as part of The Science of Beauty HBCU Summer of Science Tour.

As a student in the Business of Fragrance program at SCAD, Eden guided our students through fragrance families, scent notes, and the science behind perfume formulation—bringing what she’s learning in college directly into the classroom.

This is exactly what The Science of Beauty was designed to do.

We don’t just expose girls to STEM careers—we develop leaders who return to teach, mentor, and inspire the next generation.

2 years ago, Eden was attending our summer camps.

Today, she’s leading them.

Tomorrow, she’ll help train the next group of Science of Beauty leaders.

That’s how we build a sustainable talent pipeline for the beauty industry.

I’m incredibly proud of Eden and excited to watch her continue to grow.

We had an incredible time at our SBIZ House of Innovation event! 🤩🎉 This annual, high-energy showcase brought together both incoming and current students to explore SBIZ’s undergraduate programs through fun, hands-on activities—and plenty of new friendships along the way. 💫🙌

This year, we took it to the next level with a full casino theme—think music, delicious food, engaging program stations, games, and exciting prizes! 🎲🎶

We also enjoyed inspiring presentations from our faculty, and we even had students declaring their majors on the spot! 💬✨ ULTA (@ultabeauty) made a fantastic pop-up appearance as part of their college tour, and Art the Bee spent the day with us, spreading good vibes!

What a memorable day! Thank you to everyone who joined us, and a warm welcome to all our new students—welcome to SBIZ! We can’t wait to see you at our next events! 💙
