Albuquerque Biopark Zoo was a lot of fun for the kids! We went soon as the zoo opened when all the animals were super active! Best time to go to beat the heat too! Thanks @abqbiopark for such a wonderful experience! 🐒 #albuquerque #zoo #animals #familytime❤️ #travel

We got to take a special tour of the News Station in Albuquerque today! The kids had a great time getting to see the ins and outs of where the news anchors report and inform the local communities! Thanks to @mozzydeemusic for taking us around and sharing this opportunity with us to see where you work! 📰🎞️📽️

When I was young and boy crazy, Viva Las Vegas, and all other rock n roll weekenders, were about chasing cute guys, and trying to get attention. I think that is honestly one of the things what drew me in to music in the first place! Most of my songs I’ve written are about unrequited love or sexual frustration. But, over time, I have worked hard to hone my craft, and to be taken seriously as an artist. I have been through a lot, and learned from it. I am no longer desperately seeking attention. I am no longer in my prime, and because I am no longer young and hot, I know those who respect me and my talents, are there for the right reasons. Much of the strength and support I get in the music community now, is from other women. This Viva Las Vegas was particularly enjoyable for me, because I was surrounded by talented, strong, capable, beautiful women, who are not competitive or catty, but who lift each other up, and make up our own community within this surrounding larger community. One thing you should know, if you know anything about me, is that I support other women. In a misogynistic world, I feel it is important for us to stick together, and I have been truly grateful for the supportive bonds I have developed with other women in my music community. I had so much fun with all the fantastic ladies I was around all weekend. It was gratifying to see so many women being recognized for their talents last weekend, and to be able to share those moments with them. GO GIRL POWER!!! 💪🏻 I love my ladies! 🫶🏻 #sistersaredoingitforthemselves #girlpower #feminist #womeninmusic #lovemyladies
