(Link in bio) 🔥Why Thembalethu Msibi wants South African advertising to stop translating culture🔥

We sat down with Thembalethu Msibi, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of BlackSwan and Jury President of the 2026 iPendoring Awards, to talk about why South African advertising still treats indigenous language work as an afterthought, and what it will take to change that.

A wonderful first two days visiting old & new friends in #johannesburg for @clioawards - couldn’t be more grateful for my partner in crime @preetesh.sewraj for setting time together for all of us. What he’s done with @loerieawards is outstanding & I’m grateful for our partnership & friendship. Still working on tagging all these amazing creatives, please feel free to tag! Also a fun fact… my birth day and #nelsonmandela are the same, July 18th! Must mean something 😁❤️ #culture #art - so now the vacation begins! #southafricasafari
