POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The latest @hangyourhateofficial music video “worms?!” is out today directed by myself 🛢️🛢️🛢️

This one was a lot of fun & very reminiscent of our Pity Party video in the way that we were just coming up with things on the fly. Luke saw the skid loader & came up with the idea of the zoom out/reveal shot & even though I thought I wasn’t gonna use it in the cut at the time it ended up being my favorite thing.

I think I originally came up with the idea of red barrels & hazmat suits back when we did the photoshoot for our May tour. I always wanted this to be a chaotic jam video & it honestly turned out perfectly (to me)

A lot of inspiration for this video came from Locked Shut’s toothache, Slipknot’s “before I forget”, & my favorite film of all time “the big short” (in the way we used the zoom lenses)

DP: me, @missnscene & @austinkolbthereggaedad for some shots
Editor/Color: me & my new friend @dehancer_photo

Let There Be Light turns 2 today! 🍾💡

Looking back on this album I feel super proud. I was locked in and loving the sound that I created. I was able to tell stories vividly over beats that punctured the soul. One unique thing about this album is that I didn’t write any lyrics down. I would take long drives, throw on a beat & freestyle until the song was complete. I’m glad I took advantage of whatever I felt at the time because right now I don’t have that same feeling.

Much love to everyone who had a hand in this project. If you haven’t tapped in, right now is a good time to.

All the Dads are Dying MV ✨🎶

I loveeee music videos (I’d spend DAYS downloading them on Kazaa and Limewire with my dial up.) through andi babi, I’ve gotten to shoot three music videos! Aloe Vera + Dads are on YouTube now. Third one coming out as soon as I find a colorist.

This music video was so fun - a bunch of friends old and new are in it and we had a blast on set. Looking around I realized wow all of my friends are hot and hilarious how lucky am I.

Just the ravings of an internet popstar ✨ thanks for being here and can’t wait to see you Toddlers live and raw Thursday Oct 15 @thestraytheater ✨💕✨💕✨💕

As we come back together tonight for Let’s F*cking Bounce, I wanted to throw it back to Pride Month!

I never sat with what having a platform as a Queer Black woman from St. Louis would do for so many people. I also didn’t know how much of a difference the ENVIRONMENT would FEEL like when our experience is directly in the hands of Black Queer women. Tonight, I invite you to come experience that love, care, and energy (respectfully) ❤️

Shoutout to @thestrawberrybounce x @letsfckingdance for this INSANE combination tonight. It’s about to be another epic night, i can feel it 😂🥵

@trehitz , @kvthewriter , @ohun.ashe Thank you!

We all know how easy it is to want to jump on the next design trend, but this was such a good reminder that focusing on classic, timeless pieces is usually the best move. ✨

Bethany from @lynndesigngroup shares how you can still create a space that reflects your personal style without designing everything around what’s popular right now.
