☁️ 07.31.26-08.02.26 ✈️ moe↗age! first trip to otakon ‼️

moe↗age’s second travel trip … and it was such a lovely experience !!! actually, when we went to awa in december, i was soooo nervous all weekend, which gave me some tiny regrets, so this time i wanted to have as much fun as possible and i think we really accomplished that together ..𐔌՞⸝⸝o̴̶̷᷄ · o̴̶̷̥᷅⸝⸝՞𐦯

we were lucky enough to be able to perform 4️⃣‼️ separate times throughout the con weekend … how crazy is that !!! on friday we had a 1hr moe↗age! show, on saturday we got to participate in the anibeat idol festival AND in the masquerade half-time show, and on sunday we got to have a maid cafe pop-up show with strawberry sunday and oyasumimi … and somehow moe↗age! had our first 2 offkais in the middle of all of this ⁉️ me and sumi (my roomie for this trip >3<) probably slept at 3am and woke up at 7am every day, but it was worth it to make so many fun memories with everyone 𐔌՞ ܸ.ˬ.ܸ՞𐦯

i was actually having so much fun this weekend that i didn’t end up taking a lot of pictures … kind of unusual for me, especially in a new city, and especially when we got to go to a museum www … this trip was really unforgettable and it was only possible thanks to the kindness of so many people !!!

to the east coast community, thank you for welcoming us with open arms and for having lots of fun with us!!! to the super cool idols we got to meet and watch, wow you all blew me away, thank you for letting me become a crazy fan of so many of you!!! to our masters and princesses who came with us from california, thank you for your unwavering kindness and for taking so much time out of your life to come with us ToT!!! to the hard-working staff at otakon, thank you for all of your hard work in running these shows, you made this con so special, and it was so lovely to meet you!!! to our star sprites, thank you for working hard so that moeage can give our all at each stage and so we can spend more time with our masters and princesses!!!

and last but not least, to the members of moe↗age, thank you for working hard every day, and thank you for being my friend. i’m so glad i can make these memories with you. i love you. ♡

My time at #Otakon2026 was probably my biggest display of support for the kaigai idol and wota scenes to date… which was bolstered by my love for rhythm gaming.

I reached out to @spxarcade who allowed me to help them with their spot in the Gaming Room this year, which helped me re-connect with the kaigai idol community.

Nine of the chekis I bought this weekend featured What the Cat… which will make for more interesting oshikatsu possibilities in the future :3

Also, a lot has happened behind the scenes since I last saw my kamioshi at Otakon 2024… as a result, I brought two Feebeans on call across the three chekis I bought to support her, and in fashion with the previous two Otakons I attended I insisted on being the last for the m&g line… I feel like it paid off, since I finally got to show her the art tribute I was working on over the past two months. (The other two Phoebe chekis are for others, so they are not shown here.) #FeebeeHive

All in all, a very rejuvenating weekend… and I reaffirm my commitment to supporting the yosei until my rune gives out… whenever that is.

This is the 4th time I'm writing this because Instapoopy keeps suddenly refreshing and isn't saving the post as a draft. I promise it was way more sentimental, but I'm going crazy rn so here's a generic post (sorry 🫠)

I had so much fun. Friends. Old and new. Meet first time. Meet after long time. Mis'Sophonia reinvented 🌈yuri🌈. Toxinesis did some dances and are cool 😎 Do not resuscitate Ichigoro 🍓🤭 I perform Steel Triangle and it was intense. Show pictures later. Trade many sticker and cheki and button with other performer everybody so nice and cool love it a lot. Yellow bridge.
