Apparently roller skating required a custom outfit. 🛼✨ Another me-made dress added to my vintage whimsy fantasy wardrobe!

I had this vision of something that felt like Sailor Moon met Strawberry Shortcake, with just the right amount of 1950s charm. Once the idea was in my head, there was absolutely no talking me out of it. Check my other carousel post to see the inspo pic

I drafted the whole outfit myself, hoping everything would come together... and for once, it actually did. Those are the projects that keep me coming back to sewing. Having the ability to imagine an outfit that doesn't exist and then bring it to life still feels like magic.

The fabric is a stretch velvet and mesh from @club_tissus , and it couldn't have been more perfect for the vibe I had in mind. 🩷
