We started CLOSER three months ago as a way to get back to why we started. Good music, good company, and beautiful spaces to bring people together.  東京での最初の夜は、世界各地から僕たちが信頼するセレクターたちを迎えます。
 Jun Tanakaは、僕たちがずっとリスペクトしてきた存在。これまでIN SESSIONのイベントでも、彼のプロダクションやエディットを何度もプレイしてきました。だからこそ、東京での最初のCLOSERに参加してもらえることをとても嬉しく思います。
 さらに、IN SESSIONの新メンバーでTokyo LeadのMiss VentiKeiko、先月CLOSER TorontoのローンチでプレイしてくれたMike Roc、サンプルやディープカット、タイムレスなレコードを得意とするBay AreaのDJ Flow、そしてIN SESSION Global ResidentのSNAREも参加します。

 jun tanaka is someone we’ve admired for years. his productions + edits have soundtracked many of our events, so having him for our first tokyo edition just made sense.
 joining him is our newest IN SESSION member + tokyo lead miss ventikeiko, toronto’s mike roc who dropped nothing but 💎 at our CLOSER toronto launch last month, and bay area 🐐 flow, whose bag runs deep with samples, deep cuts + timeless records, and IN SESSION global resident snare.

Celebrating the newest member of IN SESSION, @missventikeiko, all month. 🇯🇵 We first met her last year while we were on tour in Asia. She played with us, showed us around the city and brought us through some of her different residencies. Every time we heard her play, her sound and thoughtful selection naturally felt IN SESSION. So we invited her to join us for more of the tour, eventually bringing her out to Thailand with us for shows in Chiang Mai + BKK. Now we’re back in Tokyo, and we’re happy to officially welcome Miss VentiKeiko to IN SESSION and celebrate her throughout the month. We’ll be at some incredible venues alongside a special lineup of local talent + friends coming in from New York and beyond. Come see us at one or all of the events.
