POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It’s Christmas on the Square! 🎅🎄🎁 Join us Friday, Nov. 20th for a night of music, sleigh rides, and the arrival of Santa Claus. We will turn on over 1 mile of lights as the holiday season is ushered in with light. We will gather at the Historic Truman Courthouse on Maple Avenue at 5:30pm and listen to holiday music performed by students from Music Arts Institute. Nikki Vivas, our Master of Ceremonies, kicks off the evening at 6pm with music, dancers from Studio 3V, and the arrival of Santa Claus. Lights will go on at 6:30 pm. Truman High School Cheer Squad will be on-hand to give out free spirit sticks to the first 300 kids.

Afterwards, kids are invited to Santa’s Village in the Independence Uptown Market, hosted by Independence Parks & Recreation with sponsors Comcast, Xfinity, McBee’s Carwash, and Salvation Army. They can play reindeer games, make crafts, write letters to Santa, and visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Or turn your spirit stick into a holiday craft.

Take a sleigh ride around the square, stop in shops to see their latest arrivals, grab a cup of hot chocolate or book a window seat and watch the lights as you enjoy dinner. Presented by Independence Power & Light.

We will gather on the steps of the Historic Harry S Truman Courthouse on the Maple Street side. Bring your family and friends and let’s celebrate the season together.

🎬💕 Love, loss, and finding your way back to love again!

I had the best time co-hosting tonight’s Kansas City screening of #LOVEOFYOURLIFE with @cindirogers66 @missvivas and @jolenemendez! 💗 Thank you so much to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us!

Starring Margaret Qualley, Gabriel Basso, Aaron Pierre, and Patrick Schwarzenegger, this beautiful and emotional film follows Maya, whose unexpected romance changes her life forever. When everything she imagined for her future takes an unexpected turn, she begins a journey of healing, rediscovering herself, and learning to open her heart again. ❤️

It’s a story about so much more than romance. It’s about love, loss, second chances, and finding the courage to start over. Definitely one to add to your movie night watchlist! 🍿

✨ LOVE OF YOUR LIFE premieres TOMORROW, October 14, on @primevideo!

Grab your favorite snacks, get cozy, and get ready for all the emotions! 🥹💕
