NO KINGS NOBLESVILLE, INDIANA! 🇺🇸🗽💖

I’m so proud of everyone who showed up today. There are many ways of resisting and using your voice, but maaaan the sense of togetherness at events like this is unmatched!

And I’M SORRY, but a bald eagle flying overhead midway through?! So cool.

Everyone was so kind, as always! (…and so many cute dogs! 🐕) Proud of my community! 🥰

My pal, Josh. I decided to select one night. One memory to share. Even though you know there are thousands. 9.14.2006

@justjoshingnyc, @littleylittley, and I went to a 30 Seconds to Mars show for Condé Nast Fashion Rocks at Capitale. We decided to exit balcony VIP (🤭) to dance in front of the stage (Jared Leto is a forever swoon and Josh comically pretended to rock out while Greg actually did, he was emo like that), then we somehow ended up in this limo (like why), climbed scaffolding in Little Italy during San Genaro (sure), and ended the night under the disco ball at Marquee (obvi and ofc).

I just went through 20 years of photos to find these. No tears, but how dare Josh not be with us tonight to see this and laugh out loud?!

Kings And Queens, indeed. Rest in peace, King Josh.
I love you forever and always.

Year 39 has prepared me to step into this new decade with deeper clarity. Everything I’ve learned still holds true—just more rooted now. That a great love is real. That solidarity is the way. Radical curiosity is a love language. Public service simply means showing up when someone asks you for help. That you already have all you need but if you’re lucky enough to travel, it will improve your perspective. That unbridled joy and fierce, full-hearted fighting go hand in hand in the work of building a better world. That your people will see you through—and I have the best people.

I always welcome a new decade. One of the many gifts of recovery is knowing the power of a fresh start. So here’s to the 40s—let’s do this.
