I made my first art purchase through Instagram. I only started this account a little over a month ago, and I'm genuinely blown away by the amount of support, encouragement, and connection I've found within the art community. This piece by @mister_nectar immediately stood out to me. There were so many incredible works that caught my eye, and if money were no object, I'd probably be collecting all of them. Creating art is important to me, but supporting other artists is just as important. Art communities thrive when artists uplift one another, so I've decided to set aside part of my budget each month to purchase work from fellow creatives. My goal is to add at least one new piece to my collection each week. If you're selling your artwork, feel free to send me a DM with some of your more affordable pieces. Many artists spend their days working jobs that leave little room for the things that make them feel most alive. On top of that, a lot of us face challenges that aren't always visible. For me, creating has always been where I feel the most like myself. That's why supporting artists matters so much to me. Every purchase, every share, every word of encouragement helps keep creativity alive.
