received this a couple weeks ago, and finally got around to posting. thank you soo much @misterrumi for thinking of your Canadian followers and giving us a chance to try @choolip. when I pulled it out of the box to store, whisper recognized the tube shape and immediately thought "that's my food!", so I opened it up for her to try. 🤣 #catfood #feedmycat #petfood #cateating #catasmr

This was supposed to go up on the 13th, but apparently meowmys has had her hands full with a couple of little distractions. 👀🐈‍⬛ Stay tuned… there might be a little surprise coming soon. ☺️ October is Black Cat Awareness Month, so I’m sharing the stories of 13 black cats…including yours truly. 🖤 We’ve spent far too long being surrounded by superstitions and stereotypes, but there’s so much more to us than the color of our fur. Every one of us has our own personality, our own story, and people who know just how special we really are. So we may be a couple days late, but I think these 13 stories were worth the wait. 🖤 Swipe through to meet the crew. ➡️ MEET HUEY 6 years old • Former feral rescue • Tripawd HIS STORY Baby Bat Cat Huey is a former feral rescue and tripawd who is missing his back left paw. PERSONALITY Expressive • Extremely gentle • Shy at times WHAT MAKES HIM UNIQUE Huey plays fetch with his tiny catnip mice! I throw them, he retrieves them and brings them back to me, and the game begins all over again. LIFE WITH A BLACK CAT My favorite thing is knowing that I chose him… there was no overlooking this special boy! 🖤 BEYOND THE STEREOTYPES I’ve heard the misconceptions about black cats, but they’re all false. I hope I’m fortunate enough to always have at least one black cat to share my life and love with. IF HUEY COULD TELL YOU ONE REASON TO ADOPT A BLACK CAT… “Adopting a black cat means a sleek mini black panther life upgrade!” FROM HIS HUMAN Black cats are beautiful, loving, and so worthy. 🖤 MEET OONA 4 years old HER STORY Oona was found in the North Carolina woods with her siblings as a feral kitten at just 10 weeks old. The last to be adopted, she made her way to Connecticut in a rescue van caravan before coming home to Boston. PERSONALITY Opinionated • Kind • Epicurious WHAT MAKES HER UNIQUE Oona is obsessed with eating green vegetables. Beans are her favorite! LIFE WITH A BLACK CAT Besides having the most loving shadow imaginable, when she sheds, her fur blends right into our clothes.
