I felt you at the beach tonight. Caught a ball of energy in the first video that I took.

i’ve been asking you to show me the dolphins just as a sign

And you brought out six of them to play tonight I love you and miss you more than life 🖤

It’s been almost 2 months since I received that gut wrenching call, that you had physically left us

I don’t remember much after that call except the shock that over took my body, I couldn’t recall who picked me up back home, how I got home after I landed back in Florida , and most of that week back in MI was a blur

I do remember laying in your bed for hours, the place that you took your last breath, thinking over and over again why this happened

After coming back home to FL I can recall driving in my car and just screaming, hoping that I’d wake up from this nightmare

While the days haven’t gotten any easier, i’m beginning to learn how to manage to live in this world without you

Luna and I practiced our daily gratitude, I’m able to go to the beach every single day just to reflect and say hi.

I know that you would not want to see me in the state that I was for the first month and a half, a literal mess, so I’ve promised myself to live my life to the fullest knowing that is what would make you the happiest

You are missed beyond measure. I love you forever 🖤

Grief has a funny way of playing tricks on your mind.

Today I’m SO angry, at the universe for taking you so soon

As a nurse, all 10 years being in either the ICU or ER setting, I witnessed death weekly. I’ll never forget one of my first patients- she was 19 and a college strident or OU. She was driving and the man behind her had a seizure resulting is life sustaining injuries.

Her family decided to give the gift of life back and she was going to be a donor. When people pass away and are eligible to be a donor, they have technically already passed, but we are keeping their hearts beating and their body sustained with oxygen until they can get to the surgical room and have the organs removed.

I remember walking into the room and seeing all of the family, especially the parents, grieving their loss for her, hoping and praying that I would never be in the same situation because you could see the pain was just unbearable. We always offer tools to help overcome the grief process to the families.

Yet here I am equipped with all the knowledge that I need to know , but nothing seems to help

I started grief counseling , I’ve seen a therapist, I did an emotional release session yesterday, I meditate, I go for a walk on the beach but the pain in my ❤️ will never fade away.

We all miss you so much. I love you to the 🌙 and back
