UPDATED LOCATION! This afternoon we are meeting up in the Main Floor Lobby at the Overland Park Convention Center. Since so many of you will already be at the Contractor Licensing Continuing Education Seminar we set up a bartender and a few expert guests (like Glenn @buildingcodecollege ) to support our Happy Hour Q and A. The first fifty beers are on us so join us from 4:30-6 for a little BS* and Beer!

Next week we have Continuing Education for Contractor Licensing here in Johnson County at the Overland Park Convention Center. To take advantage of the opportunity to get together when so many will likely already be in the same place at the same time, and with access to great educators like our pal Glenn Mathewson, we’ve booked a bartender and the space upstairs for a BS* and Beer meetup / Q and A. Our organization will cover the first 50 beers so it behooves you to head up right after class and join the party. Big thanks to Kira King - the Johnson County Contractor Licensing Program Manager for her help in setting this up, and Glenn for agreeing to rally his colleagues to add some expert A to our Q’s. See you on Tuesday 10-20 upstairs at OPCC - we’ll be the people with the beers outside the ballroom.

Ever walk a jobsite while it is raining? I do every chance I get. I want to know where the problems are. I want to know what needs our attention. Recently during a renovation we had weeks of great weather to start and then some fall rains started and I realized we had not installed temp downspouts as we normally do. Glad we caught it prior to issues.

Don’t forgot to sneak out a little early this afternoon so you can get to @casualanimalbrewing by 4. Wendell and Patrick from @greensealenergy are leading the conversation and we’re sure to have a great discussion. Also, the cold beer pairs well with this summer heat. Just sayin’
