SMP celebrated a powerful Women’s History Month with two standout events!

From our Women in Sports Panel & Networking Event, where meaningful connections were built with representatives from the Wizards, Commanders, and Maryland Athletics, to the Washington Commanders Women in Sports Experienceship, where students spent the day learning directly from industry professionals — March was all about connection, insight, and impact.

Huge thanks to everyone who made these moments possible — including members of Schanwald Sport Management and the Women in Business Association who helped with planning and execution, and the students who showed up ready to learn, lead, and represent the future of the industry.

📲 Want to be part of future events like these? Follow us and stay plugged in with the Schanwald Sport Management Program. More to come!
