9.26.26. ALHAMDILLAH‼️

Man what a month. I love bodybuilding and I’ll say that for the rest of my life. The more “loss” I encounter, the more I learn from the mission. The fire under me gets bigger when I don’t get exactly what I want. And well… the bigger the fire, the stronger the fighter.

Second show of the season went down. I competed in my first WNBF show in Bodybuilding & Classic Physique, placing 2nd in both.

This was the hardest lineup I’ve ever stood next to, period. These guys were PEELED with great size. Just got word that the Classic winner has been bodybuilding for 33 years! Massive respect. It TRULY humbled me and showed me that being in shape isn’t enough. Fat-free is what it takes.

It sucks that I didn’t get 1st in my 2026 shows because I wasn’t in stage condition, but if I got my pro card today, I wouldn’t do what it takes to become a true champion. I didn’t hold water this time, just fat. Winning my OCB pro status last year kept me in my comfort zone, so I needed 2nd this season. I’ll wear it with pride knowing what I’ll bring next time. And 2nd still qualified me for WNBF WORLDS🙌🏻🏆

The main con of coaching myself is taking my foot off the gas. But no more. This was my best showing to DATE, but only 70% of what I can display. I’ll be 100% next September, I promise myself that.

The plan was to win my WNBF pro status and get on anabolics. But God has other plans, and I’m not mad at that. God will steer you away from your desires to test your patience, faith, and even the people in your circle, to see who’s there and who’s not. I’m enjoying natural bodybuilding, so I don’t mind waiting as long as God wants.

Losses show who truly loves what they do in life regardless of the outcome. Again, in LIFE, not just bodybuilding. Who loves the battles will always be at PEACE. Hamdillah I found what I love at 13. At 22, I’m an OCB pro, nationally qualified for the NPC/IFBB, and qualified for WNBF Worlds. Something I never thought I’d say tbh.

Thank you to my family, my supporters, and everyone I’ve met along this journey. Cali was cool. Venice Beach was my favorite, and I’ll definitely be back!

The story continues, just a kid with a dream 💭

Overall comparisons! Battled some jacked giants yesterday. @mitchellstevenmatthews won the heavyweight class and @aka_skolifitness took the middles. Incredible physiques and incredible people I got to shoot the shit with backstage. Seeing these shots makes me almost glad I missed out on my pro card last season. I finally feel like I can hang. @nunez3dmj

But probably the best part of this experience has been the people I’ve met along the way and how supportive this community is learning about everyone’s journey along the way. You learn a lot about yourself when you willingly put yourself in uncomfortable situations.
