you guys this week was nuts. so get this- I go to the Dora Explorer concert in Memphis right? me and my girls are lit. my outfit 10. everyone at the concert is watching me dance and they’re like “holy shit. Do you perform?” I’m like no I’m 5? They’re like girl well you better get on STAGE! Next thing you know, BAM im dancing all over the country. But it was a lot of pressure… I mean I’m only 5. So I took a break and tried to center myself. I went to the beach, I went to the mountains, I even went to vacation bible school. (lit honestly i was the cutest girl there and everyone was obsessed with me) But something wasn’t right.. I tried taking my frustration out through sports. But who are we kidding? Y’all know me. Finally, I realized that all I needed was a free 1/4 pounder cheeseburger from Hardee’s.

$My grandmother is walking streets of gold ✨ Today, we laid her earthly body to rest. She radiated goodness, kindness and joy. She celebrated life in the biggest and smallest of ways. If you stayed at her house, there were fresh flowers by your bed and a chocolate on your pillow. She had a gift of telling you the truth in the most loving way, except for the time she lied to all of us about her “secret family recipe” for a pecan pie. She came clean about 5 years ago. It’s on the back of the bottle of karo syrup 😉 She truly mastered the art of cultivating beauty. Whether it was in the garden, the kitchen, with watercolor paints or flower arrangements, she just had a way of making things more beautiful than they were before. She believed the best about people and spoke into their potential and abilities. She walked so many hard roads, but not without hope and a smile on her face. I hope to be more like that. Loving her and being loved by her is one of the greatest gifts of my life. The things I learned from the way she lived and loved are in the fabric of who I am and I hope I’m a fraction of the woman she was. She would tell you to wear life like a loose fitting garment. And that you should sleep in because you need it and that pancakes are always a good idea. She would say she spent years worrying about weight and that’s a waste of time because at the end of your life, you’re hoping to hold onto it. She would say that everyone is worthy of love and God can handle all of our worries and cares. She would encourage you to run the fireplace 24/7, 365 because it’s cozier that way. Take any of this advice you need. ☺️ I can’t begin to thank all of you who have reached out and sent such kind words. It means so much to our family. “…when I get there promise you’ll track me down And show me around” ✨$
