Galway sound heads, where ye at? 💿🔊

MITCH PRESENTS: VINYL WORKSHOP

Come through to LIVVS for an evening of records, trying something new and meeting a few new faces. Already mixing or never touched a deck? Come along.

We’re building a community of sound heads and creating a safe, welcoming space for lads to hang out, get creative and put on things we actually want to go to.

Want to help organise the next one? Music, posters, photography, setting up—or just an idea you’d love to try—we want you involved. DM us or come along and sign up. Let’s build this together 🤝

📅 Saturday 10 October
⏰ 6–8pm
📍 LIV Vintage Studio, H91 W27D
@livevintage.studio

Big thanks to the European Solidarity Corps and Léargas for helping make this project happen, and to Creative Ireland and Galway City Council for their support.

Bring a mate or come on your own. Send this to someone who’d be into it. Oh and thanks to @kuzyo for sorting the poster!!! 💪

🌟 POLAR DISCO — DAY TO NIGHT
⏭ Sunday 25 October 2026
⏱️ 2pm–11pm
📍 @radial.london, Tottenham, London

Polar Disco is bringing together DJs from Ireland, London and the Bloop Radio community for a nine-hour session built around house, disco and underground dance music.

Created as a meeting point between the Irish and London scenes, Polar Disco is less about flying in a single headline act and more about bringing together selectors, friends and music communities under one roof. For its first Radial party, Polar Disco is taking things from afternoon into night, with music running from 2pm until 11pm, alongside food on site and a carefully selected line-up.

The party marks the beginning of what the organisers hope will become a regular Polar Disco presence in London – somewhere for people involved in the scene to meet, dance, discover new DJs and build connections between Ireland and the UK.

The project comes from the team behind Polar Disco Radio and a network of DJs, promoters and selectors connected through club nights, radio and independent music culture. Expect an easy-going afternoon atmosphere gradually developing into a full dancefloor as the evening progresses.

About last week... POLAR DISCO made its Donostia debut ❄️🪩 Our first B2B on Basque shores went down an absolute treat - a bouncy crescendo of groovy house, cosmic sizzlers and explosive intensity 💣

Thank you @cdorgs for making this happen @beclubss ✨@elysium.housemusic is hot and happening, so keep it on your Iberian nightlife radar! 😎

Our euphoric night was shared with legend @furonia_dj 🧨 Lovely to finally meet her in the flesh and witness her high-energy set.

Magnificent photographs and lighting by the talented @joao.shots @comp.alliance 📷

San Sebastián was a fabulous opportunity, and we made the most of our time there (and also, briefly, in Biarritz).

We swam in the Cantabrian Sea 🌊 We had the most mind-blowing food, from the salted padrón peppers that melt in your mouth to the goat's cheese crema catalana with caramelised pineapple and vanilla. Crab crêpes, stuffed sea urchins, beef cheek, the perfectly cooked octopus with sweet potato purée, Basque cheesecake, garlicky cod kokotxas, txistorra, the crispiest and juiciest suckling pig, duck (!), smoked paprika orzo, grilled squid, La Gilda and txakoli for breakfast… Pintxos bursting with flavour, passion and the highest standards. The tortilla at @ANTONIOBARSS brought tears to my eyes, one bite in, it was that good. 🥹🤤

Life is too short to settle for mediocre food. We will be back.
