As a huge fan of both indie rock and neo-soul, Julie the cat would like you to know about an excellent show coming up at the @makeoutroomsf on Saturday August 23rd at 6:30pm!

The Portland neo-soul group @bendrethegiant will be joined by local ‘yacht grunge’ purveyors @mitchrocket and literary sleaze pop mavens @ofteneasy. You don’t want to miss this excellent night of music at one of the Mission’s best venues!

SATURDAY the Richmond Revue sails at @bazaarcafesf . Come out for a unique and special evening from some of the Richmond's finest songwriters. We'll have solo sets full of rarities and favorites, then do a set together at the end of the night.

Fortuitously, today's national coming out day. I am gay. Gayness is good. I certainly try to make it so. Blessed to live in a place where that's possible. 😊 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

In that department, check the @countryrisque account on Friday for a very special announcement (hint: it involves music 🎶).

Swipe to end for a little bit of a Springsteen ballad from last night, vid cred @bromf_bunnies .

October is upon us! Two spooky things to welcome in the season:
1. In 10 days the 4-songwriter crew of the SS Richmond Revue sails again for a beautiful night of acoustic songs and rare treats at @bazaarcafesf . Come out for some one-time-only collaborations and songs never heard before or (likely) after!
2. @countryrisque has been cooking things up slowly so that they are just right. Watch that account on Friday for the first of a series of announcements that have been a long time coming. 🤠

ABOUT ARTIST IN THE ROUND
"In The Round" is when a group of musicians take turns singing their songs. One artist sings a song and then the next sings and so on. Each performing artist will have the opportunity to do 3 songs. As there are always 3 artists on stage at the same time, sometimes others in the group will add some instrumental flavor and or harmonious vocals. Over the course of the evening, there will be 3 rounds and attendees will discover 9 artists each evening.

Incredibly stoked to announce that the Richmond Revue rides again Saturday 10/14 at @bazaarcafesf . Excited to share some new ones and rarities w/the homies and fellow Richmond-ites @bromf_bunnies , @mitchrocket , and @mcar94 .

Like the last one, we'll each do a brief solo set and then close out the show playing on each others' songs all together. 🎶 6:30 doors 7pm music, $10-$20 NOTALOF.

McGrew & Seal have had the pleasure of playing on the past few albums by songwriter E.G. Phillips, aka @duckswithpants. Today was the 7th annual #EGphest. Seal got to perform “The Mockingbird’s Repertoire.”

‘Twas a star-studded soirée in the Richmond District of San Francisco, featuring Grace Renaud, Kitten on the Keys, Mitch Rocket, Shawn Byron, Ken Newman, Nina Jo Smith, and many others. Much fun. Thanks @bazaarcafesf for hosting us.
