My New PB and Caught With Temu Gear! 🤯👀🙈

Well...here she is!

I went on a mission to prove that you can still catch big Carp using Budget fishing gear! Inevitably to do this I ended up at @linearfisheriesofficial armed with a full Temu set up that doesn't break the bank! 👌🎣

After settling on Brasenose 2 peg 11, the gear help up incredibly well and little did I know that this beauty would be the first Carp of the session! 😍💪

After taking me for a for a run around in a lengthy battle through weed, I landed this beautiful two toned chunk which came in at 39lb 12oz! 💪🎣

This was caught on fake plastic corn over a bed of chopped worm, corn and @parkerbaits og fish boilies! 💪

You can watch this mental session on the Chunkster Fishing YouTube channel! 😁👌🎣

Well what can I say another brilliant turn out for “Danny Boys Memorial Carp Cup’ for the third year running.
This year’s venue of choice was Linear Fisheries on Oxlease lake.

27 anglers gathered to compete for the top spot to raise the cup in honour of Danny Boy.

The match had plenty of ups and downs and plenty of fish caught across the whole lake but the top 5 positions were chopping and changing throughout the whole match, with the end results finishing as follows

Paul Neal taking the top spot with total weight 128lb 02oz - well deserved Paul you were determined to prove a point and that was certainly achieved this last weekend.

Matt Wise dropped down into second on the final morning with a weight of 126lb 08oz - Matt held the lead for the majority of the match after the first 24 hours saw him climb the ranks fairly quickly.

Gary Wreford pushed himself into third place with a total weight of 112lb 07oz. Pretty steady throughout the match making the most of the feeding windows

Whist Sean Room and Richard Oakes respectably 4th and 5th place with weights of 97lb and 94lb

We even had a surprise visit from Ben Parker and his team from Parker Baits who donated an impressive bait bundle for the biggest fish award which went to Sean Room for an absolute beauty of a mirror weighing 37lb 04oz. Top angling Sean.

We also held a raffle between the anglers with some great prizes with all proceeds being split between the 2 charities chosen for this event which were prostatecanceruk & Tackling Minds 2 great causes that help a lot of people across the uk.

Planning for next year will soon be on the cards hopefully bigger and better again next year, if you’d like to get involved or make any further donations please check the page linked https://click.contact.justgiving.com/?qs=d659b2bd3f08355f76569866674ad52d5c2c2aaa2eb5d07c9911734ed3588fc0d7441d6afeae16bb2f7597d4d28e1174c1ee10a6747a48ab
we’ve also got a tool raffle running with a kind donation from midlands building plastics

Would like to thank @totallymadcarpsocials for help running the event

Big thanks to everyone involved couldent of happend without you

Saturdays @atomictackle Road show was a success, from Demonstrations, competitions, talks and photos! It was great to interact with people and customers and show them the range of products we do and why we love them and it was clear to see that some of the demonstrations and products blew some anglers minds on just how good they really are! It was great too see some faces we knew and meet plenty of new people too! The staff at independent tackle shop Doncaster @fishingtackleandbaitshop were also exceptional! So a massive thankyou to all of you and everyone that came to the stand to show their support and see what we had to offer! Take a look at the cover list to see when our next roadshows are on and feel free to come see us at the stand!

An Unforgettable Moment on the Parker Baits Social!

The first night started strong, with bites coming steadily—until the morning, when the action suddenly died off. To turn things around, I sent out a solid bag at 27 wraps, and sure enough, the fish started coming again.

As the day wore on, the bites slowed once more. But after spotting a few fish showing in the middle of the bowl, I quickly adjusted my approach, deploying three zigs at 5ft in Black and Red. It wasn’t long before my efforts paid off in style!

This absolute unit graced my net shortly after—a stunning new mirror PB at 36lb 10oz!

What a session! Massive thanks to everyone who was there to share the moment!
