POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

three desi women pushing the boundaries of what experimental music can sound like: @modularprincess, @slowspinspace, @miti__________

from hindustani classical traditions and modular synthesis to ambient soundscapes, unconventional song structures and electronic experimentation, arushi jain, miti and slow spin are each carving out their own sonic worlds.

three very different approaches to making music, all worth getting lost in.

Miti - Meant To Feel [Miti]

NYC experimental producer, singer, and DJ Miti (fka tanvi everywhere) follows last year’s Mixmag-featured debut with “Meant To Feel”, a dark, visceral club track about needing intensity just to feel something. Known for her raw, intuitive approach shaped by a background in computer science and no formal music training, Miti blends distorted granular textures, glitchy synths, and soft ethereal vocals into genre-fluid productions that draw from trip-hop, garage, jungle, and electronica. Fast-paced, visceral and jarring, “Meant To Feel” is driven by glitchy, screeching synths paired with soft, ethereal vocals.
