What a beautiful wedding it was to attend, at the most breathtaking location, with the absolute funnest people. @mittlesgoop and @0livier5, congratulations on such an incredibly moving union of your love and families. The scene setup at the beach had me teary eyed before anything even happened, but Mitalie when you showed up I had to actively work not to sob. The speeches were major tear jerkers and it was palpable how much you are both adored by your families. We are so honored to have shared in your special day with you! A highlight was being seated at the cool kids’ table for sure (shoutout to the Golden Gate Gays) 😎🌉 Congratulations once more, we are beyond blessed to call you both close friends, we are so happy to know and love you to bits 🩷🕊️🌸🌲🏔️🌊

Soaring high at Lake Tahoe. Started off with a morning run around the lake and ended it with watching my dear friend tie the knot! So blessed to have been able to be apart of this couples special day!💍❤️

After a year of living together, from the west coast to the east coast, we’re so sad to say goodbye to this gem of a human being. We’re going to miss you oh so very much Mitalie @mittlesgoop as you complete clinical rotation out West! Thank you for being an incredible roommate and an even better friend! 😗😗

Wow, and just like that my pediatrics rotation has come to a close!Working with this incredible doctor for the last several weeks has been such a blessing. Perhaps what I admire most about pediatrics is how forthright children really are. They do not have hidden agendas nor do they ever seem to inflate their pain in order to get stronger medications. They tell you exactly how it is, and sometimes in the most precise of ways. For instance, when we asked a little boy how much pain he was in on a scale of 1 to 10, he actually rated his headache “between a 5.3 and 6.2”. I mean, it does not get much better than that! 😂 I cannot believe how quickly clinics are flying by! Now it is time to grind for my upcoming pediatrics shelf exam and prepare for my gigantic move to the east coast to finish off my third year. Psychiatry here I come!

Feeling so fortunate that I was able to take a few moments away from the books 📚this weekend and explore just a small fraction of what this beautiful state has to offer... Feeling even more fortunate that my sister was able to travel half way across the country to do it with me.

Moved into a new apartment and decided to host a “We H.U.G.” (White elephant 🐘, Housewarming 🏠, Ugly sweater 👕, Gingerbread man 🍪) party in the same week. It was one hell of a challenge, but was an absolute blast! I’m so thankful for all the new friends we have made in the Bay and welcoming them into our new home made it that much sweeter. ❤️❤️ . . . #HolidayParty #Christmas #Housewarming #UglySweater #Gingerbread #WhiteElephant #Campbell #California #Blessed #AllSmiles #Memories #FavoriteSeason

October is not over yet... And with that, I just wanted to put Breast Cancer awareness on blast one more time! 📢📢📢 In my surgery rotation thus far, I have seen numerous lumpectomies and one particularly gruesome case that I will never forget. The U.S. Preventative Services Task Force recommends mammogram screening every 1 to 2 years for women age 40 years and older. Early detection truly is the key to fighting this and The National Breast Cancer Foundation @ncbf helps the cause by providing FREE mammograms to those in need. Check out their page for more information and to see how you can get involved. 💡👨‍🔬 . #HelpingWomenNow #Landau #MadeBetter #FindACure #Hope #Awareness #GetScreened #Medlife #MS3 #FutureDoctor #California #photooftheday #instagood

Just finished rotating with this pretty awesome ENT doctor for 2 weeks. Working with him has been so inspiring, as he is 80 years young and I swear has better stamina that we do. He made starting surgery at 6:30 am and continuing with clinic until late in the evening look easy! When asked what the secret to practicing medicine for so long is, he kept getting distracted and never actually answered me. But after our time together, I think it's become clear: As long as you're passionate about what you do, it's not considered work anymore and just becomes your life, so much so that you cannot imagine doing anything else. I can only hope to be as fortunate as him in having a healthy and long career! • • • #FutureDoctor #ENT #MedicalSchool #MS3 #Rotations #Surgery #SanJose #California #Medlife #Medicine #Health #Physician #Blessed #Instagood #photooftheday
