A little of this and a little of that… now read it again with a cockney accent No potatoes were harmed in the making of this grid post. #peace #love #fallvibes #pnw

Big birthday wishes to my mom, Paula, who turned 60 last week!! Her two sisters and good friends helped plan a killer birthday party to celebrate complete with handmade decorations fit for a party planning queen like my mom. Her dedication to doing parties right is almost 34 years and counting. She’s come a long way since hiding in her room as a kid because the noises were too loud. Now, she’s out there having a great time and enjoying the fruits of her countless hours of labor, from hand cut confetti, handmade photo bottle cap souvenirs, and meticulously baked & decorated Ralston cookies at my high school graduation party to tiny postal vehicles handmade and assembled complete with tiny photos of my dad wearing a USPS hat at his retirement party this past August, not to mention the countless parties before and since. Our family and friends are so lucky to have such a thoughtful, crafty, and kind person ready to whip out the hot glue and baking supplies when needed. Parties with the Peters family are always a fete to remember! I’m so glad we got to see Journey together last week too and I’m looking forward to the rest of our journeys. Love you, mom!
