A soft reflection Part I. 2025 was less hustle, more pause. I’ve said no more often, wandered through silence, swapped Bali for the mountains and traded noise for stillness. Practiced what I preach. Life is precious. And all life is interconnected.

Today, I’m holding my community on Gadigal land close, while turning to my other home, the one my mother calls Ilankai (‘Sri lanka’). It’s a name without borders, without violent sentiment or nationalist ideals. A word that simply means home.

In the wake of Cyclone Ditwah, Ilankai is still hurting. Entire communities continue to fight for survival, dignity, and care, away from headlines.

That’s why, together with twenty-five extraordinary artists and makers, we’ve launched the Art for Ilankai Raffle, a direct fundraiser for on-the-ground relief.

Every ticket you buy funds women-led, frontline responses. Your support flows directly to The Malayaha Tamil community in the central province, at-risk women and children on the east coast and families with disabilities in the North.

We’re working in trusted partnership with @art_kayamai , @sambolfoundation, and @anushani.a to ensure aid reaches the hands that need it the most.

Our goal is $5000. It’s a number that turns into medicine, essential living items, dry rations, shelter, dignity.

And in return you could hold a piece of this collective care in your hands.
