Happy Birthday to my firstborn, my son @mixitkennon 💙!

Watching you grow into the man you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Over these last few years, I’ve watched you step fully into adulthood — working your full-time job, handling your responsibilities, living independently, and building your own life. That alone makes me proud, but what means even more to me is the kind of man you are while doing it.

You work hard, you love your family, and you keep pushing toward the things God placed in your heart. I admire the way you continue to pursue your music — writing, producing, creating — while still showing up to work every day and doing what needs to be done. You may still have the desire to fully live your dream right now, but I believe God honors consistency, faith, and hard work, and your journey is still unfolding.

I’m so proud of your heart. The way you love your people, the way you try to stay on the right path, and the way you keep God at the center of your life. That matters to me more than I can explain.

I may not say it every day, but please know I love you with my whole heart, and I am so proud of the man you’ve become. Happy Birthday, son!

Keep going, keep trusting God, and keep being exactly who you are. 💙🙏🏾🎉
