If we create a good Combo, we can actually make @mixlogapp The DJ’s Choice. The future is social and we could use your help with the foundation.

In the next weeks Alpha 1.4 will launch and we can’t wait to show it to you. Your feedback will help us launch the app of my dreams, which will most probably be yours too. #djs

This speech was at MusicTech Belgium’s first meetup at the @abconcerts foyer and recorded by my friend @yannoukvd ✌️

Meet a lockdown success story who started out with just a small controller during the pandemic to keep the party going at home. Fast-forward to today, and he’s spinning tracks across jungle, breakbeat, neurofunk, darkstep, drum & bass, hardcore & breakcore!

From appearances on jungletrain.net, @blackteethrecordsandradio and Belgian Junglists, to throwing down sets as part of the @monkeybusinesssound Kru, he’s proven his passion and talent have no bounds.

We’re happy to congratulate @basklasdnb, and crown him the official champion of the Mixlog DJ contest #beenefiest edition!

A huge thanks to everyone who participated, and keep an eye out on our pages for more opportunities!

I want to thank Bart De Neve somehow for his support during my (ongoing) time at the @uzgent #k7 revalidation as he recently passed away, just months after his succesful recovery. 🥺

I had the honor of being his #revarave #DJ where we celebrated his homegoing. He had such a big heart, like all of my dear friends that I made in the center during my recovery, but shined through in the ability to endure, stay calm and positive, and he gave so much of that energy to all of us. We were buddies in destinies that we didn’t get to choose, and destined to make it back to society in a strong mental suit and mobile bodies.

My sincere respects to his family and friends who most definitely made him such a delightfully joyous man. 🙏

And of course thanks to my #reva buddies such as the amazing photographer of these pics @c3sapo , my trusty roomie @kendc__ , and Lieven, Shaun, Kendy, Jasper, Abdel, the staff & doctors … you guys are the best & make my difficult time as a recent amputee bearable & faster 🦵. See u on monday 🥲😬

@mixlogapp the podcast 🤣
if you’re a DJ and unsure whether our app is for you:
- check which transitions you DIDN’T try yet
- check transitions that YOU KNOW will work (Combos)
- save all your inspiration for mixes
- get ALL harmonic key suggestions and look them up accross multiple playlists that you define. Not just the easy transitions - you CAN experiment 😊
- use our Camelot tool to quickly scan music theory and find compatible tunes based on key
- fetch & manage a wishlist of Tunes
- export your Mixes to a Playlist file that YOUR PC or DJ SOFTWARE will understand 👏
- I can write multiple books on the subject and this AI generated podcast was actually 30mins long lol

- SO the essence is: TRY IT, and see how Mixlog can be useful for YOUR WORKFLOW 😎
Need a setup or intro? HMU 🤙

The Combo at the end was played at @blackteethrecordsandradio be sure to check their amazing channel too :)

I’ve done the math… 😵‍💫

In 2024, I had to let go of at least 906 potential working hours as a result of my accident on August 10. The financial impact on my start-up company Ita Vero / @mixlog is sadly and slowly unfolding, and definitely huge.

On top of that, I’ll have to continue explaining and describing this accident and the impact to my life for the next 2 to 5 years until I’m crushed under an offer that barely scratches the surface of my suffering (it’s still Belgium, our justice system…). 🫥

But what I learned by losing hard in life, is to embrace what ever the hell is left of it. That’s how I managed to personally create an impact that hopefully stops hundreds of people from driving under influence, especially during these times. Thanks to the media for helping me spread the story of WHY NOT TO D&D.

And to all of you, a big phat thank you for your donation - or artistic performance - toward rebuilding my life! It’s far from over, this struggle is for life!

Hailing from Louvain, Belgium, @speedwagon_whatuonabout has been a pivotal figure in the Belgian drum and bass scene since 1999. His dynamic DJ sets, encompassing a spectrum from liquid to jump-up and techy to dark, have ignited dance floors across Belgium and neighboring countries, including the Netherlands, Germany, and France.

Beyond his DJ career, Speedwagon co-organized many successful event concepts and managed to produce records to the liking of @radarrecordsbe & @midastouchrecordings recordings with positive appeal of names like ltj bukem, LSB A-Sides & more.

In 2014, Speedwagon co-founded What-U-On-About?!, a Louvain-based drum and bass collective alongside Tesla, Fuzz, @teezer_whatuonabout , and initially @mc_mota . This initiative has significantly enriched Belgium’s electronic music scene by organizing high-quality events and hosting a podcast that showcases both resident and guest DJs.

Over the years, What-U-On-About?! has evolved from intimate gatherings to hosting sold-out events at esteemed venues like Het Depot in Leuven. Their lineups have featured prominent international artists such as Shy FX, Mefjus, S.P.Y, Black Sun Empire, Halogenix, DJ Hazard, D-Bridge, Lenzman, the list goes on…

Find out his rich history of genuine d’n b selecta carnage by visiting INVID’z, this saturday at @clubvier_gent - you’ll be blown to pieces & wanting more…
