"Llamarte"

Solo Sunday! My friend @thisistayras introduced me to @mixtapeseoul beats and wanted to do some R&B tracks together, and this song was the result of that collaboration. Thank you Tayras for believing in my singing ability, I think we made something special here. One of the most slept on tracks I’ve ever made, even the raw vocal layers in the hook sounded insane! We recorded this in Tayras’ bedroom and the vocals still sound clean!

It carries even MORE meaning NOW…

USUALLY when writing a new song, I find a word, TYPICALLY within the first verse that stands out and BASICALLY makes sense to give the song some character…

If you’ve been watching and listening, UBER is used pretty early and a word used as a rhyme scheme so it just STUCK for me…

But when talking with @eza_art_5 and coming up with something DIFFERENT was an easy PIVOT and TRANSITION…

PLUS the potential this artwork has… I digress…

MIND of an OG…

This journey of mine has lead me down MANY different paths and directions, but regardless of WHERE I go or end up, my songwriting will always stem from that hip-hop mindset that i grew up on…

Add the melodies and singing, the vibrato and style and I think I found the collection that makes me, WVLKER.
