@ceruleancafe presents cafe vermilion ❤️‍🔥 the second variation of our home cafe from this past saturday. my heart feels very full knowing how much love and intention went into this project. i’m proud of my friends for making this creative vision come to life. from a thoughtful menu to a carefully curated playlist (shoutout dj sarah). from a custom guess who game to mehndi application. seeing flavors of our cultures and splashes of vermilion evocative of our homelands all while enjoying the beloved company of friends is a feeling unmatched. so often we have ideas that never leave the group chats or notes apps or pinterest boards. so often we hold these vague notions of community, but it’s harder than it seems to actualize them. although being dead tired at the end of it, i’m really happy. i’m inspired by these people to keep working towards my silly or not-so-silly little dreams that were simply born out of my love of color and good company. and i hope we can keep creating beside each other to share and build upon what we have together. p.s. don’t mind the dates they are extremely wrong
