Birthday BODY Hottie 💃🏽👙🥵🥳

Circa 2️⃣0️⃣1️⃣9️⃣
Flashback Friday 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

This was year 3️⃣5️⃣🎉 I Am The Birthday….

Self Love is Loving the Skin that You’re in,, 🫶🏽

There’s gonna be people who don’t agree with how you show up in this world.. 🌎

They will mock you, criticize you, but secretly study you 👀
Then one day copy you… 📝

But the Key word is You…

You are the Original
You are the Case Study
You are the Proven Evidence that being YOU is the Prize 🏆

Side note: 📝 when they say oooo you’re cutting up now that you’re divorced lol.. I’ve always cut up 💃🏽😂

I AM The Birthday. I Am Worthy of being Celebrated, because Every BODY deserves Celebration 🎉🥳💃🏽

Let Take it back to Essence Weekend #TBT

I asked my friend to record me walking… I wasn’t expecting a whole audience. 😂♌️

A compliment turned into,

The Women Walking towards me yelling

You better walk 💃🏽

Do it again!

Then came the clapping, the cheering, and a group of women who stopped what they were doing to watch me have my little runway moment. 💃🏽✨

And baby, if there’s one thing I’m going to do when the people ask for an encore… it’s give them a show. 😂

I didn’t know those women. They didn’t know me. But for a few seconds, we shared laughter, energy, and the kind of spontaneous joy you can’t plan.

Sometimes the glow isn’t in the pose. It’s in what happens when you give yourself permission to be fully seen. I’m such a Leo ♌️

Thank you, ladies. 😂💜

A pause does not mean a NO. Sometimes it simply means NOT RIGHT NOW. 🫶🏽

I’m grateful that God gives me clarity about the desires of my heart. When I know, I KNOW. 🙌🏽

But the when is where I and probably a lot of us get caught up.

Sometimes the waiting can make you question what you already prayed for and received an answer about.

Today reminded me that just because you planned, prepared, showed up, and positioned yourself for something and it didn’t happen it doesn’t mean it isn’t meant for you. The timing may simply not be aligned yet.

So use the pause. Make yourself better. Make the situation better. Make the circumstances better.

Because when the time comes, be ready to step into position.

Don’t trick yourself out of your spot because you think, “If it was meant to be, it would’ve happened by now.”

And remember this only applies to when you have clarity. Anything forced will fail, but what God has ordained will prevail. 🙏🏽

Moral of the story: NOT TODAY is okay. 💗

I’m so in love with the life that I’m creating. People come and go, but as long as I stay, I’ll be okay. 💜

Y’all, I’m a Leo, so of course I love making bank deposits. 😂💰♌️

But what I love most about the season of life that I’m currently in is that I’m SELF-SUFFICIENT. 🥹🙏🏽

I’m just so proud of myself. Like, girl… look at you doing the damn thing! 🤩🤑

Grateful that I can take care of myself.
My bills are paid. ✔️
I’m able to live, move, make choices and do what I want when I want to. ✔️

No handouts. 🙅🏽‍♀️
No begging. 🙅🏽‍♀️
No borrowing. 🙅🏽‍♀️

Just me, figuring it out, making it happen and taking care of ME. 🙏🏽

And THAT is a season of life I’m proud to be in. ✨

If you’re in my life, just know one thing… your birthday is NOT optional. 😂🎂

I don’t care if you say, “I don’t really do birthdays.”

Baby, you do now. 😂

I’m gonna remind you.
I’m gonna make the plans.
I’m gonna gather the people.
I’m gonna make you take the pictures.
And yes… I’m probably gonna make you celebrate longer than you planned. 😂🥂🎉

Because if I love you, being celebrated is mandatory. ❤️

And the funny thing is… y’all be fighting me at first and then end up having the BEST time. 😂😂

This was one of those birthdays. 🥳👑

Now, the actual birthday girl is not a social media person, and I respect her privacy/boundaries. ❤️

BUT… she doesn’t have a choice about our love for her being captured. 😂📸❤️

Because these moments? We’re keeping them.

Repeat after me: 🗣️
I Am The Birthday.
I Am Worthy of Being Celebrated.
Because Every BODY deserves Celebration. 🥳

Consider this your warning: 🚨
If I love you, your birthday is my business. 😂🎂
