End of August recap

It has been a wild 2025, filled with so much growth. From filling in to technical direct and run cameras for swim and dive, to acting as a linear Associate Director for men's and women's basketball, and so much more.

This year I completed my second year with Mizzou Broadcast Operations, where I have gotten opportunities to work on linear productions, primarily acting as an associate director and filling in on the replay bench. Those shows enhanced my attention to detail and ability to work under pressure. In addition to jumping to linear shows, I have also begun training fellow students as MBO' Student Lead for Replay and Associate Directing. Having to teach others has forced me to become even more knowledgeable about the systems we operate, which has also enhanced my own skillset for the shows I work on.

In 2025, I also had the opportunity to work with LTN and the Kansas City Current on their in-venue production at CPKC Stadium. This season, I had the opportunity to act as the venue pitchboard operator, which allowed me to flex my AD skills in a different context. I have loved every minute spent at CPKC and the crews that help to enhance the fan experience while executing partnership activations during shows.

I am so thankful for the opportunities that 2025 provided, and I am looking forward to what is to come in 2026!
